I don't think it will be M/D house.. I don't think they'll live together just yet. (I wonder how much time passes by after this hiatus btw)

NO other spoilers though from Kristin... or at TVGuide except them both saying they start filming june 25th.

I don't know about that. I think they'll affirm their committment to eachother and we'll see some house buidling talk together right away. I think the candle house said it all. I think we'll be moving toward the moving in talk.

Yeah, Shonda said no time jump so I'd like to see MD the morning after snuggled in their blankets having some lovin'. Preferably in their house of candles.

Then, we would probably see the house buidling in the coming weeks.

not to be a kill joy or anything but maybe Derek's house means Derek's house the last we heard from Derek he was still selling it, so maybe he moved in the honor of starting over....yes i would love to have someone to build a candle house with but happily ever after is not easy.... and they havent talked yet which has to happen.... the candle house doesnt make everything all better it just makes you feel better...

I don't think Derek is going to sell the land anymore. The only reason he even thought about that was because he thought it was really over with Meredith. To Derek, he wanted a future on that land with Meredith. So, without her he couldn't stay there anymore and he didn't want to stay there anymore.

I actually really liked that part of the finale. It proved that Derek didn't just want some woman (***cough Rose cough***) to build a house with and settle down, he wanted Meredith. Without her he was happy to settle for some place in the city. That's NOT Derek, he's all about the land and open spaces!

I really don't think Derek is going to start building a house without at least talking to Meredith first about them moving in together. I think that was the whole point of the candle house, to reaffirm their committment to a house and their future. I hope if we are getting a "McDreamy" house it's because Derek and Mer are buildng it together. Moving in together would be a great storyline along with seeing them pick out choices with the house TOGETHER. Moving in together doesn't have to mean "happily ever after" just that they are now truly together, committed, and acting like a functioning couple with issues.

Of course, this is Shonda we are talking about and since I don't trust her I'll wait to get really excited until I actually see it unfold on screen!

well if theres no time jump and a "set" for Dereks house which could be a construction site and there has been no discussion... the candle house was a symbol... not blue prints and after the finale I was really excited that if Meredith could fix herself with everything that has happened to her than, maybe I have a chance to get that same ideal.... but ive come down from that nice fluffy cloud and realized that the real world doesnt work like that and so Greys doesnt work like that because all Greys is a exaggeration of the real world...so yeah Derek will come back and carry Mere back to the trailer and be all McDreamy and the fluffy cloud will return but then after the sex and cuddling will come the talking and then things will get messy... and I like them that way because whats the point of watching happy people... it fun for a few weeks and then it gets boring

A couple in love who is real is not boring when properly written. It all comes down to the writing. I'm hoping the writers in S5 can get back to that.

Patrick Dempsey & Ellen Pompeo together will never be boring. Put them together with fantastic writing and you have magic!

I have no doubts that it will be beautifly written and portrayed... what I am saying is there is going to be some drama, unceritaniy ect because if there wasnt it would not be true to the charaters no matter how "whole and healed" they are, it doesnt change who they are as a person

I know it will be beautifully portrayed, it's the well-written I'm not sure of and I won't be until I see it on-screen.

I'm all for the MD drama as long as it's written properly but sadly they haven't been in well over a year.

I'm not sure? The only thing I can think of is that the premiere of S5 shows no time jump so it's either the same night or the next morning.

Then, in the second episode weeks or months have passed and we see that the house is in the building stages. Something like that.

The pictures in the upcoming GA Magazine could be a new set that is going to be used in the future once MD decide to live together!

I wouldn't have a problem with them not moving in right away together. I do think they have to both work on their trust issues but I still think they can do that by reaffirming their committment, moving in together, and than agreeing to work on their relationship while their house is being built.

Again don't want to jump to conclusions of them living together.. I don't want them to at this point honestly. And while they can work that out by living together, I'd rater see them not living together at this point. Too soon IMO.

But there could be a time jump after the 1st ep, some shows do that sometimes.
