We're not the only ones that are excited to have him back. But I'm pretty sure he's back for 16, although I could see 15 ending with a phone call to him too

They sure do, asking where he is and when he's coming back, especially those who don't follow spoilers/interviews.

I hope episode 15 is the start of good things and focus back to Meredith and Derek when he gets back, and hope if ep15 will end on a cliff it's for Meredith.. maybe the accident will happen too after all, like Mer is all fine from the EQ and than the accident happen..

I'm sure it will. The earthquake might actually make him fly home so when the accident happens he is already almost in Seattle. Would take care of the hours it would take him to come home when he hears about the accident

Me too, I want to see that.. there was some foreshadowing in ep9 too, it screamed foreshadowing.
