The only thing I didn't like regarding them was how the Chief called Addison to Seattle.

I love this in episode 201:

Chief: You called my wife?
Derek: You called mine.

I also love their scenes together, especially after the surgery!

Though I haven't always been the Chief's biggest fan... Especially during the beginning of season 2 when he called Addison

Though his Ellis storyline is interesting and it makes your realise how alike the Chief and Derek are, which is nice to see

Yeah I love the parralel, but to me it's important that Meredith's live isn't turning out to be just like Ellis' one...

I don't think that Ellis had no feelings at all for Richard. I mean she left Thatcher for Richard, except Richard didn't leave Adele. That's the only difference IMO
Derek did the exact same, except he's finally getting the guts to realise and go after what he wants.

This is the big difference between this two couples: Derek left Addison for Meredith.

When I wrote "She has an heart" I talk about Meredith's attitude with the others (patients etc.). She is really sensitive, Ellis was cold.
