Yeah, and I think it'll cause conflict because Meredith will most likely not take it that way. If I were her, I'd definitely be hesitant to trust anything Derek really says anymore... so I think that'll definitely be the hardest part when it comes to Derek getting her back.

Yeah, they said it really well on the writers' blog... Derek told her to have a little faith and boom! Addison shows up.. It will be hard for Mer to have faith in what Derek tells her.

I think she still trusts him as a person and perhaps as guidance/strength (ex. her imagining him to help get through the bomb situation, the crying closest scene where he calmed her down, etc.) but relationship wise? Not so much.

I agree. I think this season we will see the old Derek (S1).
Sincerly I agree with Patrick when he said that they killed his masculinity in this season. In the first season he was different and (for many things) better.

In general I'm starting to have a S1 vibe about this sesaon, mostly because I think we'll see some of the chasing that Derek did in S1 as well

it's derek's call this time... is he going to leave addi and fight for his love for mer or he'll still try to be a good guy by sticking to his wife? BUT i think, and i love to see, he'll fight for mer this time... hope to see the old mcdreamy back...
