Do you guys still miss Derek on the show or don't you guys watch anymore?

I still miss him sometimes... though his last season didn't feature him as much so I do feel like it was kind of a prep for having to miss him on the show

the only time i really miss him is when i catch older eps that have him in it, i've moved passed the whole missing him and holding a grudge. i still watch and the show is different, but in a good way. i think derek not being on as much as he was in the earlier seasons made it easier for me to not miss him as much because we rarely saw him. hope that makes sense

I feel the same way
Though I do still enjoy GA, the show has changed and Mer's storylines have been interesting in the post-Derek phase

the show is still good, to me it keeps getting better, i'm really enjoying Mer and what she's going through after derek, but don't get me wrong derek will always hold a place in my heart.

I honestly don't watch it, and will never watch it again, it has become a soap opera, and from what people told me about the current storylines, I think it's disrespectful to all the work that Patrick and Ellen have put in for a decade, to MerDer and to the MerDer fans that have supported the show for over 10 years, and it seems like merediths character development went out the window. She's definitely not the Meredith that I looked up to and loved. She's VERY out of character, it's such a disappointment

I tried to watch Meredith scenes at the beginning of s12 to support Ellen, bc I COMPLETELY love and and respect her, but it was just to difficult to watch.

Meredith is out of character, the decisions she's been making from s12 and now is out of character. If you watch some scenes from past seasons, some in s5, some in s9, and hiu watch her now, it's like she did a 180°. I don't see her as the strong character she once was, it's like she reverted back to s2 Meredith with daddy issues and uses sex to make herself feel better. Like you're a successful surgeon with 3 kids, act like it. It was okay to do that back then BC her character was still developing. Now they're acting as if they're petty high schoolers, it's embarrassing. Just thinking about this season actually makes me want to throw up TBH.
