I think Shonda will rebuild Derek and Mark friendship (especially with Addison's departure) and probably we will see many other scenes like this.

I hope so, especially with Burke gone now, Derek needs a guy he can talk to, and since he isn't close with either Alex or George, that only leaves us with the chief or Mark. And while Derek has voiced some concerns to the chief, I think and hope that he will share them more with Mark in the future

and just hang out!!

I just love the scenes between these two. Even the cut scene from season 2 'Yesterday' was nice.. I'm glad it was on the DVD box.

I think Derek was really appreciative of Mark's act as well.. That somebody was there beside him, while everyone else was working on Meredith.
