well if EP is off the show or if she gets less screentime, who knows if they'll share some scenes together.. I always enjoy them on a case together, I remember an ep where Cristina was on that case with Derek of that decapitated guy... Lexie was her intern then.

yeah I think it was early S4.. Cristina so didn't like Derek there
