Dempsey OT #7 ~ We don't suffer from insanity! We enjoy every minute of it!

if you're going to listen to him. just look up "the ding dong song" the title tells you all you need to know pretty much. but if you don't laugh, you're not human. hell the video is hilarious too.
I'll look for that song! I'm curious.

mandy was good as was gabe. dianne had funny parts too, but not nearly enough.
That's a shame.. Diane Keaton is a good actress

thanks for starting this.

i think they cut a lot of scenes of the movies, and unfortunatley the ones that would have helped seemed to be cut. it really wasn't diane's fault. they made the mother overbearing to a point whre it was no longer entertaining.

oh please report back when u hear ol' gunther. if u can't find it i might have to upload it for u.

So basically, a bad script.

I'm still searching for the ding dong song
ETA: I found the ding dong song.. It's loading now.

beware of the ding dong song, and his tra la la.

um teitur, hmm i'm so attached to the whole album. the first one i fell in love with "i was just thinking" it was actually a letter to his girlfriend he made into a song.

"let's go dancing" "poetry and aeroplanes" "you're the ocean" "rough around the edges"

and yes, the script and editing, it might have been more editing than script.

I clicked on 'I was just thinking' .. It's running right now.
I also clicked on 'Let's go Dancing', 'One and Only' and 'Sleeping with the Lights on'
I'll search for the others you recommended!

Editing can also have a major impact. Same goes for directing..
I've sometimes seen movies with good actors but they didn't do a fantastic job in the movie.

Ooh, I love Sleeping With the Lights On.

Sufjan is folk but probably a little more pop(ish) compared to Teitur. If you've ever heard a song by him it's probably Chicago. When I listened to it, I felt like I've heard it before.

Yeah, definitely check out Chicago. There's different versions of it, but I think the acoustic version is the best.

Hah, throwing out some names. I listen to a lot of Indie, usually when I tell people some artists I like they just stare 'cause they've never heard them before.

oh so much of what i listen to are people unsigned to major labels, or barely known, or i listen to them before they blow up. so i know what you mean.

I get kind of bitter when an artist becomes all mainstream. It's like, I'm happy that they're successful and everything, but it's annoying when you've been listening to them for like, ever and then suddenly everyone starts freaking out over them.

Also, since I listen to a lot of British and some Swedish bands, they never tour over in the states.

haha the ol' mainstream debate. we've all been there. i only feel bitter when i feel the guy or band has changed as they got bigger. so, i've been lucky that way, i'm cool with teh same people i was cool with before they got huge or just got bigger.

the worst is when they blow up for your least favorite song. that is a whole other thing.

do you listen to starsailor? i've seen a lot of the european people i listen to. i actually want to see them in their countries though.

I'm not a fan of Starsailor. I've heard a few songs, and I don't really like them.
