Lol, I knew once i heard about the episode that Meredith would be called a b*tch!!

There is never any middle ground for her with the fans, if she was all sweet and nice to derek she'd be called a dormat (Cause he was so horrible to her last epiosde and she'd just take it)?. And she is called a cold hearted b*tch for giving him some tough love when he deserves it honestly!!

I am glad she said she could not love him if he quit, i wouldn't either, why would you give up a really amazing skill just because another patient died. If you dont want that to happen DONT pick the proffesion with the highest fatality rates! And even thought i really dislike her, izzie could die and i think that is just a bit more important!!

Maybe Mer might have told him she loved him, if he hadn't batted away her ring last episode

I dont know what is going to happen next week but, and i certainly hope their scenes are NOT about izzie!

I liked this week's ep..

I first off enjoyed Bailey sending everyone to the woods to see Derek and talking him into coming back...

It was fun to see Callie go there and stick there, same goes for Owen..

The chief's final speech to Derek was good too, I think it made Derek realize some nice things and in that speech you could finally see that he did regret what he did last week and that he didn't call because he didn't know what to say.


I'mglad Izzie's illness is out in the open.
I loved that final scene with Mer and Derek too, I'm glad she didn't say I love you back, it made the scene much better this way.

Loved Mark's case too Loved the patient and what he went through..

Interns' stuff was funny this week

And the promo for next week looks interesting..

Yep, I watched it live again

Okay, this was.... it broke my heart.
The man you love is havign a breakdown... He calls you (a way to say I'm sorry), and the first thing he does is tell you "I love you"...
You just say "I know" (It's fine I guess she didn't say it back...)
But then he asks you "Would you still love me if I wasn't a surgeon?"
She says "No" ????!!!! WTF !

WHO SAYS THAT ??!!

Yes, he said some bad things to her.. blah blah blah.
He called her to apologize, which he didn't even had a chance for, because she LEFT !!
But saying, No, I can't love you and respect you anymore if you're not a surgeon anymore. That is something a cold-hearted bitch would say.
I'm sorry, but that's just what it is !

I'm still freakin' pissed off by that scene
And I guess I should blame the writers for making it ALL ABOUT IZZIE !!

I think she meant no as in the way that if he wasnt'a surgeon anymore that he wasn't the man she thought he was.. Not that it matters that he's a surgeon, but I think she means it in the sense that he has a gift that he's very capable of using and he's throwing it away like a piece of trash.
And I think she mostly said because he thinks of quitting and she doesn't want him to. I don't think Derek wants it either because why else would he look at the scans. I think its mostly Meredith making it Derek a little though that an 'I love you' doesn't make everything alright just like htat, and it shouldn't. He hurt Meredith, and she gets that, his reasons for why he acted like that and she stood by him, but IMO an 'I love you' doesn't make all of that alright.
I applaud Mer for standing by her friend, who is important to her too, and immediately she steps up to Derek and asks him to look at her friend's case. Which will help him too. She's not pushing him, she's giving him an option. Its up to him whether he takes it or not and it seems like he's ready to give it a shot.


I don't think its all about Izzie, and I don't like that some people say that since this episode was about everyone in all honesty. It was about Derek, about Mer and George trying to cope with their interns' personal problems that effect their work, pretty much they're in Bailey's shoes of last year. Alex was busy doing his best on surgery, Cristina got her solo surgery and in the end it was the interns together, which I loved in all honesty. WE hadn't seen that in a LONG time, the interns together like that so I loved that.

Well than what she did was manipulate him into doing Izzie's surgery.

Of course Derek doesn't wanna quit. He's just having a breakdown now and he isn't thinking clear. The point is, this was supposed to be about Derek. Since the clinical trial they've been building up to this. And when it's here, it isn't about Derek anymore... Mer was supposed to be by his side (Shonda said so herself) I haven't seen ANY of that. Yes, she was strong last week when he said those horrible things. BUT he was drunk, depressed, and well... like I said, it was supposed to be about him, she was supposed to be there for him! People shouldn't have taken his words seriously. People were supposed to feel sorry for him, but no... people felt sorry for Mer.
So once again, it's all about her and Derek is the bad guy, again.


No I didn't mean the episode. I loved the last Izzie/Fab 5 scene, I cried like a baby.
I mean the MerDer stuff is all about Izzie...
Der will eventually go back because of Izzie. The first surgery he'll perform will be on Izzie. Mer came there to show him Izzie's scans. Mer left to go to Izzie. The proposal will be overshadowed by Izzie. Their possible wedding will be because of Izzie, in a 'life is short, let's get married right now' kind of way...

We have been waiting for MD to get married for 5 years and when it's finally here, everything will be overshadowed by Izzie. That's a little sad IMO and a slap in the face of the MDers !

well Derek is the bad guy in a different way now. I don't think Derek is 100% the bad guy, yes he did things wrong but I also think people sympathize for him on some level. I know I do.

I'm not if all things are in relation to Izzie.

I don't think Mer came there because of Izzie, because Derek called her. Izzie's scans were 1 of the many ways that could make Derek come back. But Mer came because Derek called.

and Derek will go back because he may realise that sometimes people do die and that he shouldn't let his ego go big again by thinking he can do it again.
I think Derek just doing his first surgery is just of the steps to recovery. It doesn't mean he's healed just yet. IMO.

Well if its overshadowed by Izzie, I'm not sure, since the wedding isn't here yet and we haven't seen the ep. I don't think we can judge that until we see the ep.
