ABC - Six weeks after Derek and Meredith ended their relationship and Derek began dating Rose, Meredith and her fellow residents, Alex, Izzie and Cristina, compete in a surgical contest, with Bailey serving as judge. Meanwhile interns George and Lexie adjust to their new, squalid apartment, and Callie finds a friend in her roommate Cristina's nemesis, Erica Hahn.

You can't bash.. That's the rule throughout the entire forum here, and fanforum in general..

You can be all Mer/Der as you want to be... you can even say you don't like Derek/Rose, as long as you remain respectful to the actors, and try to remain as nice as you can be Just for the overall spirit But bashing no, saying you didn't like something (most likely in this case Derek/Rose) is okay, as long as there aren't any bad names being called, or that any remarks are made that could be offensive to the actor too.. I hope I'm a bit clear, I'm not clear minded today

Mer was so bad but for calling out TUMOR but i think she learned her lesson she kinda did look like she felt bad after she said it.

Glad that mer won the comp and solved the mystery. I also love the way they are taking her career with the trial....like a reviewer said (along the lines) that saving lives is what matters to her not the contests I wonder what she is gonna do but i mean she is a great resercher but then she is a great surgeon, probably combined the two, hehe.

I felt sad for Mark, he feels left out.

I thought izzie was a bit stupid for wasting all that money and putting that guy through hell.

hello people. i actually really enjoyed the episode. its moving in a direction i wanted to see, for mer and der. but, mostly for mer. i've said she needed therapy for forever. so, i'm glad finally she is there. loved mark and derek. their last scene was too damn cute. i like jealous mark. i want ED's gray back though.

i absolutely called to my friend early on that hahn is gay. so, we'll see how it unfolds next week. i think something else, but we'll see how it goes.

the last scene with the sister and george was the first time i liked her. the apt was too cute, once she fixed it up. i loved the contest and the prize.

the medical cases were good. so, overall i really enjoyed it.

In my opinion Derek does not have a line between professional and personal he tread Mer like crap when he feels like it ,him giving the pen was like he still pissy blaming her,but at the end he acted like an adult and came to her

I liked how she won, and how she put her research above any potential good surgery.

and it's nice to see her wanting to save lives.. FInd a way to cure what is not curable..


I didn't find Derek such a jerk.. It wasn't nice that he didn't even look at Meredith, or was cold to her early on in the ep, but he did walk up to her at the end... which to me kind of shows that he can't stay away, and the cold behaviour to me kind of shows that he was trying to stay away, to remain distant.. but in the end he just couldn't.

and I know this pleases some anti Derek/Rose fans, but Derek doesn't come off that happy.. I remember reading that people would be all happy now that he was with Rose, but he's not even exclusive with her (at least Mark said so), but when Mark asked if he was serious, he said 'I don't know' .. He seems to put on the happy act when he's with her, but afterwards, like in the scenes with Mark where she is being discussed, it doesn't come off as happy.. And I know that it was the case with Meredith as well, but that was in their troubled period, so there was a reason to it. Now there's no reason (that we know of), and he's still not happy, or at least comes off that way IMO.

I loved them. It was nice to see them banter and Mark admitting truthfully that he didn't like Rose. I mean given their history, its a pretty bold thing to say.. But it was funny how he thought that after Addison and Meredith, it would be just them.. Very funny comment
