I wonder who this new person is that's aiming for chief as well

Yeah, I don't want the creepy old professor who feels up his former students -- even if he has slept with them.

I think ultimately Derek will get Chief, 'cause I think they need a good storyline for him. There hasn't really been anything for him this season yet, only him regarding Meredith but not by himself.

I read Steph's comment at the GA board that Cristina is sleeping with her superiors..

She does stick to that pattern..

and he really seems to be focused on that, and like you said he needs a personal storyline.. Mark is just on board and a bit reckless and not the best teacher at the hospital and Burke has had its own share of personal storylines as well.. Now it's time for Derek!

Mark is just like... nobody takes him seriously.

And, Burke, yeah... he definitely had his fair share of drama this season.

In the pilot, when she's grilling Meredith about her taking the surgery Derek offered and she's all saying how she didn't get into Med School by having a famous mother -- now it's like oh, you just sleep with your professors.

Hah, I barely took the baby thing seriously with him. The only thing I pretty much bought when when he sat down beside Derek in the second part of the arc.

I'm interested in who the important person is that Derek is operating on.

It is a great song.. I've got it on my MP3 player as well

It fitted that moment perfectly. Just like 'Make This go on Forever' fitted perfectly at the end of part 1.
