like with the AU episode in season 9 when Cristina gave birth. Mer was there with Owen. I told myself I wouldn't want that for MerDer. I know Cristina is very important for Mer but I only want that moment shared between MerDer

just like the pregnancy for her entire first trimester they didn't tell anyone except Lizzie

yes I know what mean but you that storyline showed that yes cristina is important as she should be they are friends you can have both but by mer telling derek first you can share as couple and not lesson someone else importance its just life and cristina seemed to get it too which helps she knew but never pushed or wasn't upset at having not being told
