the last memories I have of reading that book was with my cat. the one who died a few years ago. and it's just it's reminding me of him.

he was my book buddy

I get it. When I read that book I had just lost one of my dogs. And it reminded me of another one who we had to put down (reason why I always cry when I watch the doc scene in Grey’s). Although it was a hard read for all the memories, it was in a way, liberating and at the end, uplifting . Idk...it worked that way for me.
