now if Tobey is gone to Costa Rica, he could come back but not to Scranton, and we could have the spin-off. Or maybe the spinoff could be Tobey IN Costa Rica LOL

You're welcome. I'm curious too. Apparently there was a hint of it in the finale.

I actually could see it being Jim and Pam, but I seem to be in the minority on that.

Based on things Paul has said, I doubt the spinoff would be based on Toby. But, then again you never know. At this point it's still anyone's guess.

Wonder what the hint was. I'd have to rewatch, and I can't do that to myself right now.

Anything's possible I guess, I was always just thinking about one character that hadn't been on the whole time or such a major part of the show.

Well, in the beginning it seemed like they were going to go with completely new characters in the spinoff. And then it looked like they were thinking about one of the five families in the Parking ep. But, now I think they're definitely spinning off a regular character. I don't know what the hint was. The spinoff will be about someone taking a risk. Hmm. Could be anyone or any number of things.

The only thing I keep thinking like Kristin is that it's Jim and Pam.

I know............the spinoff is Toby/Pam.

Jim Pam Michael and Dwight are such a huge part of the show. I don't think they could take the risk to take one or more of them off the original show.
(Not usre if "I don't think" or "I hope not")

It would definiely be a risk, but if they are going to take someone from the original then I would think they'd want someone people care about and are invested in.

when ever i think of this spin off I think of Growing Pains and the spin off called Just the Ten of Us. The character was a gym teacher mike had and his huge family. People liked it but it onl got like 3 seasons and the first was only 4 eppies. But I still have faith in the office writers and producers
