The Office - Jan Levinson/Melora Hardin #3: Because She's A Triple Threat

Welcome to the 3rd Melora Hardin Appreciation Thread!

Melora Hardin portrays Jan Levinson, Dunder Mifflin's rigid corporate boss in NBC's "The Office." Jan often finds herself having to fend off Michael Scott's (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) inappropriate romantic advances, while at the same time struggling to assert her authority as his supervisor.

Hardin has been acting, singing and dancing since childhood. Her feature film credits include the recently released "Thank You for Smoking," "The Hot Chick," "Absolute Power," opposite Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman and "Soul Man.". She can also be seen in the upcoming horror film "Hellaburger," and will make her directorial debut with the independent film "You," out this summer.

Additionally, Harding has appeared in television shows such as "Monk," as Monk's (Tony Shalhoub) dead wife, the series "Dirty Dancing," and "Cover Me."

Hardin currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband actor/writer Gildart Jackson and their two young daughters.

Maybe more people would come around to the idea if she's more human when she returns. I get why so many people weren't loving her in those last several episodes she appeared in, but I guess I loved her so much before I still want to see more from her.

I know what you mean. I think we need to see some emotion or vulnerability to her when she returns.

She was on an episode of Once and Again! It was cool to see her even though it was very short.

Yep. She was Carla's stepmom. I believe she only had one scene, so there's not much to remember. But it was still a nice little surprise.

I loved seeing her in 17 Again. All her stuff with Ned was hilarious, too funny how she turned out to be like him.
