| Personally, I think Jim/Pam are just as good now as they've ever been. It's just that some of the other story lines weren't quite as interesting to me. JMO There's also the fact that Jim/Pam didn't prank much this season, but I think that was supposed to be part of Jim's character arc. I LOVE the pranks, but they can't continue forever. | |||

| I think they still do their pranks...they did one in the season finale on dwight that was hilarious And I think a reason why season 2 JAM may seem better than season 4 JAM is because season 2 had TWICE as many episodes It sucks that we were kind of cheated out on a whole bunch of relationship cuteness because of the writers strike. I mean, I understand that they had to skip over it to keep the storylines moving, but still...__________________ ~Heather "I just...can't wait. Pam will you marry me?" ~Jim | |||

| I really think some of the hourlongs dragged the season down as well. | |||

I don't know what it is excatly. The strike definitely didn't help matters. And I agree about some of the hourlongs dragging things down a bit. I've never minded having a dramatic side to the show, but I think it was a bit unbalanced this season. And there were an awful lot of episodes outside the office this season too. Which don't get me wrong, I like, but, it seemed like alot this season......probably because the season was shorter. __________________ No other TV drama captures the realistic rhythms and everyday pressures of American life with such authenticity ~ FNL ~ October 1st avie by PollyGreen

I did enjoy Fun Run though. That may have been more because of finally coming back after summer hiatus though. __________________

| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I love JAM this season. I mean, I adore S2, and S3 was just heartbreaking sometimes, but S4... just knowing they were together, it made everything better. Though, I do think it's hard to judge because we ended up with such a short season. They didn't have a chance to really tell a lot of stories. Season 5 should be great though... with the extra episodes they'll be able to tell a lot. | |||

| I think of it this way at least we got something at the end of the strike. The show could have been canceled or they could have just ended it and started fresh in season 5. We were blessed and they did the best they could... except for the no propsal __________________ Harvey: You ruined a funny joke, get out of my offive. Jim: Hmmm, I'd say 1 in 6. Pam: What? And season 5 should be amazing. __________________ No other TV drama captures the realistic rhythms and everyday pressures of American life with such authenticity ~ FNL ~ October 1st avie by PollyGreen | |||

| I'm glad to see a few of you guys know where I'm coming from. That makes me feel a lot better. I'm going to blame all of my problems this season on the writer's strike and just hope for a great fifth season. I actually spent last night looking at some of my older posts on the JAM thread and I was really, really obsessed then. ![]() Jessica ![]() | |||
