Hann - I have family in Florida. I always have a great time when I visit. That's cool you guys will go to Orlando. A must.

I've been dieing to go back to Miami.............my friend and I had so much fun when we went a couple of summers ago.

Florida has the same problem as Texas......heat and humidity.

Yeah, the heat and humidity I could definitely live without. If we didn't have that then I would love it here all the time.

I'm so sad the Yankees won.

I really wanted the Phillies to come back and take it! However, I am glad to have my Fox shows back! I've missed them...

Kush I'm up for whatever Sara wants to do. So, right now anything is a possiblity.

(I love Disney and Universal! My brother and I went over and did a day at Universal/Islands of Adventure last month, just because. That is one good thing about living so close!)

Gotta agree there. Sometimes during Chicago winters, there just aren't enough layers. I don't even want to think about what's in store for us in the coming months. Predictions look horrible because of the super mild summer.

Usually, my dad's off on Friday so he takes care of taking my mom to any doctor appointments she has to give me a break. He's going in for a few hours tonight so as of right now, i'm in charge once again. When does Ellen choose to do her tweet stuff in Chicago? Tomorrow, of course. If I had no responsibility I'd be downtown doing stupid stuff for Ellen. Instead, I'll be in waiting rooms. I better not miss the John chat, too. Ugh.

I was there this summer...and apparently on August 9 there was a heat warning that prevented us from doing anything

I went outside and felt fine

Those heat warnings are generally there from mid-June to late August. And they're generally for the elderly since many pass away when we have extremely hot summers. Generally when a summer is mild, we have a horrible winter.

I don't make this stuff up, I just live it.

So did we. 22 of 31 days produced more than an inch of rain. I'd rather have rain than snow any day though and we've had snowy Octobers before.
