Did anyone get S5 yet from Target or Best Buy? I'm still undecided on which one I want. Anyway..

I feel ya on Melrose. If I had a lot of time then that show would probably be a definite. But I don't so I probably won't watch. I started 90210 last season, got behind, and like never returned, lol. And I gave up on One Tree Hill.

Sara, do you plan on watching Parenthood? I forgot to mention it before, but I will be since I love Maura Tierney. I also plan to check out Eastwick for Lindsay Price.

Ken - Wow, you were BBQ hopping.

I had two separate beach invitations (one was with family which was the immediate one to be turned down

), but I ended up staying home and doing homework. Wild.

I forgot about Parenthood. Is it based on the Steve Martin movie? I so loved that movie. Bathroom rug chaps are amazing. I'm willing to give it a shot.

Melrose wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. Kinda like how 90210 was last year. It has lots of potential. Fun Pilot, but it needs work. My only note was "make it dirtier"

Because my whole thinking was the old MP was like, I don't know, a nighttime soap opera, in every literal sense of the word. They took risks. They went there. They weren't afraid to have characters backstab each other without consequence. These people weren't really friends, and I hope this series takes the same cues. The Pilot didn't come off that way, but it's way too soon to judge it.

The ratings weren't great I saw. That's my other thing with new shows that I'm on the fence about..................I'm more inclined to wait and see if they last before getting invested.

And yep, I agree about the old MP.........I'd like to see the new MP dirty/soapy like that too.

I'm giving all 3 new CW shows a shot. They all appeal to me. Whether any of them will see a full-season pickup, is TBD.

The new MP had a good start, but I was upset with how a few things were setup. But it's in need of a re-watch to determine my actual opinion of the show, as a whole.

If I had the time I would, but I don't want to crowd my schedule too much. I know I can always get stuff on DVD later.....or itunes or whatever.

I do plan to check out Vampire Diaries.

I'll keep you posted. Let you know if they are worth it. Don't have high hopes for "The Beautiful Life" mainly because they seem to be all about the abbreviations... TBL. Come on, this isn't OC.

Even if Mischa is on it (a total con for wanting to watch, btw).
