O.M.G. Mary Poppins was amazing. Amazing effects, the singing, the dancing. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. If you ever get the chance, go see it, it's so worth it.

Hate to bother you guys but a lot of the time you have pretty good ideas. My friend's home burned down this weekend. They lost everything. It was her, her husband and their two kids (3 and 5). Any ideas of organizations we could call to get donations or good ideas we could do to help (other than helping to replace items)? We're all so stunned right now, no one can think or move fast enough. Was just hoping for some extra ideas. Thanks.

Wow, I wish I had some ideas for you but I really don't. I'm really sorry. I know nothing about that sort of thing.

Actually... I just thought of this after I originally posted... I don't know if you can do this but I know a lot of times when you go out to restaurants or grocery stores they have a little jar for donations for certain people. I don't know if you need to get this approved by anyone important or if you can just go up to the manager of the store/restaurant/what have you and ask them and have that be that, but it's just an idea.

Things are pretty bad with her mom.........menigitis with pnemonia............and some kind of heart thing they discovered. But, still really not sure of anything else.

Sara - Sorry to hear about your friend.

I'm not really sure about organizations. But, one idea is to browse Craigslist............alot of people give stuff away on there. You could probably get alot of needed items.
