Thanks for the title Mooners.

Janet - I guess it all depends on where you live. Here it is extremely hot and humid.

Yeah, I love Psych.

That sucks about CTV, etc. Very frustrating.

Unpopular opinions of UB............hmmm. Did you come up with anything?

Steph - I'm glad your first week went well. Too funny about sleeping sitting up.

Thanks for the GH lowdown. I'll check it out this weekend.

I hate that they got rid of Christian. I like Marshall though. He's my fave too. I don't like the mother and sister.

I'm watching some of the Olympic trials tonight.

My dad cooked steaks on the grill tonight. Yummy.

Mel

Hanging out poolside today. It was nice. Went swimming... laid in the hammock... hit the hot tub.

Just finished dinner... pot roast. It was okay. I was more partial to the potatoes and carrots. And bread.

I caught myself up on my summer TV...

Secret Diary of a Call Girl... Well, I don't know how I feel about the show. The first episode was honestly... great. But, the second episode... not so much. I didn't enjoy adding her family dynamic to the story so early. It didn't make sense or add up for me. And the client was lame. But, I like her friend... I hope there is something there.

So You Think You Can Dance... Love it! Best season ever! No Neil. But, I like Gev, Matt, Mark, and Twitch! And as for the girls... Courtney, Katee, Kherington, and Chelsea... I really am partial to Mark/Chelsea right now. Has anyone noticed he has a bit of a Chuck Bass persona?

My Boys... Love this show. Glad it's back. I hate how TBS/HD is not giving me the best experience... the sound doesn't match the picture. But, it's been a really good season thus far. Interesting changes taking place, especially with Andy.

Now, my TiVo just has Cocktail... the Tom Cruise movie I've never seen. So, we'll see if I watch that tonight.

I saw Wall-E last night. Soooo much love for this movie! I want my own Wall-E! The love story with Eve... and MO. Great movie, billions of thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!

No plans tonight... I might see Get Smart tomorrow, though. And then back to work for another work-filled month.

UB... Umm, I became less of a fan because of this season. That's all I will say, since I know alot of fans come here.

ETA: Who are Wanda/Ian?

Ken - That sounds like a very relaxing day.

I'm behind on summer TV........Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Weeds, My boys, etc.

I have been watching In Plain Sight, The Mole, Real World Hollywood. Oh and Swingtown on CBS. Anyone else watching?

I'm glad to hear Wall-E is good. I really want to see it. The last movie I saw was Get Smart.

No worries about UB. I think everyone agrees the season was weaker than the previous and that there problems with the writing, etc.

Ian/Wanda are from a book called The Host. It's by the same author as Twilight but it's her first adult novel. The Twilight books are young adult novels.

Yeah, I've been watching RW too. I like it... but ironically, I don't like any of the roommates. Similar to my watching of this season's The Hills.

Very weak, IMO. And just unnecessary character assasination. I am very upset with what became of Henry.

I am aware of the Twilight books, since I do own Twilight. Haven't really had a chance to read much of it, but what I did read... I liked alot.

I plan to watch all 5 Harry Potter movies in Blu-Ray and I might give Queer as Folk a shot for the summer. Since I finished Skins and VL seems to be less about Ollian lately.

So true about both. I don't know why I keep watching, but it tends to be addictive even when I really don't like any of them.

You definitely aren't the only one upset about Henry.

Cool.

The HP marathon sounds fun.

I still want to check out VL.

I watched QaF Season 1 on DVD last summer and really liked it. I want to watch the rest. I might as well buy the whole series but I just rented season 1 since I wasn't sure if I would like it.

Betty is the character I'm least interested in, I just find it hard to get excited for her ruining the cliffhanger for me.

In the same vein I cannot, at this point, ship Daniel/Betty, I think they have a good friendship but the idea of a romance between them squicks me now.Oddly enough, I first started out rooting for them. And that's it. How popular is Judith? Knowing my luck she's very popular.

Ugh, I reread Twilight and I couldn't get over everyone loving it. And now I'm onto New Moon, just, no. No! Stephanie Meyer cut your hands off before you start writing again. And that's all I'll say.

Yeah, I have no attachment. I can't stand Sara/Kim and there one-sided opinions... Will is just a jerk... Dave is dumb... Joey was pathetic... and so was Greg... and don't get me started on the new roomies. Alot of fights this season, if you hadn't noticed.

I thought Gio was cool... but, he's cool because Henry was basically destroyed to make him the better choice of the two. They honestly almost lost me as a viewer... thankfully, the show still kept it's comedic edge.

I've only really seen the first and third movie in full... so I am excited to watch them all together, in a row.

As you should. Here is a link from YouTube that contains 71 videos (mainly 4-6 minutes long) of there appearances on the soap VL.

I had only previously seen S2-3... but I am dying to watch it all, from beginning to end. I originally wanted to do that with Bones and House, but they are losing appeal from me, unfortunately. I need alot more substance in my drama... and both just don't deliver for me. And I promise, I will watch FNL S1-2, which BTW my sister is in love with.

And what a lame one it was... God, I have a feeling JJ Abrams was like "plagarism!"

That is where I disagree with you. Right now I don't see it... but, it's obvious it is the end point for those two. I loved the episode where Daniel thought Betty liked him and how scared he got. It's obviously going to end up there, I don't mind the closeness for right now. It's all part of the buildup.

Judith Light? She was Samantha Bower on 'Who's the Boss?' with Tony Danza and a young Alyssa Milano.

Janet - Judith is well known. Not sure about popularity.

I can't see D/B any time soon, but I love their friendship and the build up and I definitely see them happening at the end of the series and I'd be onboard.

Stephenie is far from being a great writer. The books are fun though. Kind of. Seeing as how I don't ship E/B they're not that fun for me. I seriously doubt Stephenie will tick off all the E/B fans and come up with something original for Breaking Dawn.

Ken - Sarah and Kim bug me the most with their one sided opinions. But, I can't say much more about anyone else in the house. They have all been pretty unlikeable except for brief moments here and there.

I'm a Gio/Freddy fan, but I'm also a Christopher/Henry fan and I hate it when one character is destroyed just to prop up another. Some shows are infamous for this but I never though I'd see it on UB.

Thanks for the VL link.

I'm glad to hear FNL is still on your to watch list. Yay for your sister loving it!

I've seen some pretty good deals on the box set of QaF, so hopefully I'll be able to get that soon.

Oh, I had started watching Skins, so I need to keep going with that too.

Yeah, they are all just bad news. Maybe it's the whole idea of Hollywood changing people. Then again, I didn't like them from the beginning. Especially Brianna!

Yeah... It's annoying and unnecessary. I don't understand why they do that... heaven forbid the decision be a little harder.

Like, did you ever see the movie Sweet Home Alabama? That's what a love triangle should be like... even.

No problem. I am all about converting the masses to ship Ollian.

She caught herself up with my DVD set and TiVo'd S2. However, I have not finished all of S1. I know... I'm bad.

I don't know about buying it... definetly renting through Blockbuster Online.

I just finished Skins... Loved it! Brilliant show. I miss it. If you ever want to chat about Skins or VL, feel free to e-mail me whataboutken@yahoo.com, since I got a new BB it's alot easier then on the phone.

Yep. And she also did several TV movies.

Yeah sadly, I think they were all that way from the start.

Yep. And I agree. To me a well written love triangle is one where both pairs are even.

Thanks. Sounds good since I like having someone to discuss things with when I watch it and I know no one watches VL. And I know there are Skins watchers around but not any of the regular people I chat with. So, I'll definitly take you up on that when I start watching. And my email is mel.enigma@yahoo.com.

I don't get what you're referring to, but isn't it fun seeing things like this? And yes, so lame. ;lol:

One of my opinions is proving to be unpopular.

A)I feel like Edward and Bella's relationship is bordering on an abusive one, at the very least it's unhealthy. 2)Bella? Biggest Mary Sue ever. 3)Bella strikes me as a horrible role model for young teens, granted she's fictional but these ideas are still being planted in the heads of girls around the world. 4)The majority of characters are one-dimensional nobodies that really shouldn't even have names. "Oh look at me I'm Bella, la-di-da, and I go to school with Angela and Lauren and Mike, not that I really describe them for you. Oh and my father is the stereotypical bachelor who really shouldn't be able to have survive this long without me. Oh, and I'm a klutz but I'm trusted to cook without burning myself, my father or our house down."

Steph - To answer your question on the last thread, yes I knew about I Love The New Millenium and watched it all last week. Michael Ian Black and Hal Sparks were both on it. Hal Sparks looks so different now, I was so surprised! His hair is longer and he just looks different! Michael and Hal are my favorites on the show along with John Aboud and Michael Colton.

I'm back!

Definitely not the most popular character on the show though she's not unliked by most or anything.

You're not alone on feeling that about E/B and Bella.
