Loved Mel's title and I was the only one around...again. I think this is the third consecutive time that I'm doing the OT thread. hehe

I know how Heroes could be in the title, though. It could be B/c Sam & Diane will watch Heroes in ... days!

Thanks for kicking us off. Again.

I was going to but I had to run out and get some things done.

That would have been fun for the title too.

I've worked full time non stop since I was 16............this includes going to school at the same time. Just exhausting. I got my degree last year in business. But, yeah, not really doing what I want to do. So, I decided to quit my supervisor position at the company I was with and take a break and figure out what I really want to do. And yep, working on some business ideas right now.

OMG!

Wow! I've never had a job! I think of school as my full time job, but you?! Much respect. Anyway, it sounds like you're doing the right thing. I have to admit that I'm only in my second/third year of college and I'm questioning accounting/business. It's like, I think it could be for me, but then again, why did I say I want to be an accountant in the first place?!

Well, I'm glad you're taking a break. It sounds like a much needed one - especially since you haven't really been able to breath since 16?! My, gosh! By the way, it seems you have enough experience to start your own business.

I'm off until Saturday!

I can't tell you how relaxing it is to wake up past noon. I don't remember the last time I've done that.

I can't believe Heroes is coming back next week!

It's quite refreshing.

And I'm just not used to it when I have to work the morning shift and I have to be up at 5:15am every weekday. Even the weekends I seem to wake up early.

Ken - I know how that goes. Sleeping in has always been a big luxury for me because I've always had to get up early........even on weekends. Being on a break these past few months it has been nice to sleep in sometimes.

I totally agree about Heroes being up to the standards of Lost. And I'm super stoked about Kristen being on the show this season.

I can't wait to see what they have planned.

Well, I never said I want to be an accountant when I was younger, but I enjoyed the two accgt. classes I took in H.S. and I thought it might be perfect for me.

The only thing that is helping me stay focused is that it MUST be God's plan to continue on the path I'm on. I believe that's true for you, too. Leaving your supervising job and returning to Texas with your family...it seems meant to be.

Jessica - There is definitely still time for you. Fortunately you are skilled in your interests - like band, math, and writing. You just have to figure it out.

Steph - Aw thanks. I don't really think I'm that skilled, I'm a super klutz, but it's a nice thought.

Oh and I forgot to mention, on Saturday, we won 1st place at our first real band competition of the season! I'm so excited! Hopefully we can get get 1st place every week.
