Moonie - Thanks for starting. I've been swamped here at work again so I didn't have time.

What movies?

Can't wait to hear your idea.

Holly Moonie will get you added.

Liz - How's work?

Today was my goodbye lunch. Everyone in my department as well as 2 of my bosses from New Jersey and the Ops Manager here in California attended. We ate at this nice little Italian place. It was nice but kind of sad too. My boss gave me a $100 gift check which I totally didn't expect. That was really nice.

Tomorrow is my last day. As excited as I have been to get here, I will probably be a wreck when I leave tomorrow.

Cool. I haven't Mr. Brooks or Surf's Up but I've seen the other two.

Goodbyes suck. I'm excited to be moving and doing something different with my life but there are things I will miss here for sure.

Mel - Aw, goodbyes are the hardest. Even if you can't wait to leave somewhere, it always, always sucks. Hey but once you really leave and go to Texas (I think that's where you said you're going), it definitely won't suck anymore.

Blah I've been feeling really weird today. I think it's because I talked to my friend who's from Louisiana last night. We used to be best friends, and we still are, but we've changed so much. It's just... weird. It depresses me.

Hi guys

Moonie- thanks for starting the new thread, love the title

Mel- work was okay, didn't work next door as originally planned because the person that usually is there came so worked where I usually work helping with spackling walls, taping the floors, etc. Getting ready for the new installation.

Aww I bet it's going to be sad leaving today...last day of work. How does it feel. That awesome you got a goodbye lunch.

Moonie, love the title you went with!

(had to go back to the last thread, as I missed a couple, LOL)

Jessica, Holly, it sounds like it's between Boy Meets World and Sabrina. Both sound awesome!

Liz, thanks! We enjoy shopping and now we actually have a valid reason to go crazy.

Mel, awww that's nice that your co-workers took you out to a goodbye lunch. Hope this last day at work isn't too sad!

Jessica, sorry about how you're feeling! Did you guys have a weird conversation? Anyway, at least you two are still best friends despite all the changes...now it's just readjusting so it's comfortable!

Lots of movie talk! Does anyone plan of seeing the new Ocean's movie? I'm hoping I get around to it!!

Jessica Yep, goodbyes suck, but I'm excited to be starting new things and being back around family and friends, etc.

I understand the feeling you're describing about your friend.

Liz Work today or party time or just chillin'?

Moonie - Have fun. Can't wait to hear what you saw.

Steph - Thanks.

I saw Oceans last weekend. I didn't love it but I enjoyed it. Better than the second one. Loved Matt Damon's stuff and Casey and Scott were hilarious.

I have 1-2 more hours here at work. It has been happy and sad all at the same time. The company sent me flowers today which was a surprise but very nice. And the ladies in my department gave me $200. Didn't expect that either. They were crying and it made me cry a bit. I don't think it will really hit me until I'm out the door though. Lots of people here at work signed a goodbye card for me which was fun to read.

Steph - No, we didn't have a weird conversation. It's just... things aren't how they used to be. Two summers ago we were almost like cloned twins because we were so similar and it was great having someone to talk to that knew exactly how I felt in almost everything. We had a lot of great memories because of that. Now that we've changed it's like we're not as close anymore. You know? Oh and either show you want to watch is cool with me. I love them both.

Mel - Ah the official good bye. How sad. At least you are moving on to bigger and better things. To quote the John thread, 'It'll be awesome!' LOL.

I went over to my friend's house earlier. A few of us were there just to play games and stuff. I pranked called my friend Brian and it was hilarious. I'd explain it but it'd take way to long.

Watching Grey's Anatomy, believe it or not I have never seen that show before. I am on the first season disc one haha. I was supposed to go see Oceans 13 last week, actually me and my friend had plans for like 3 months but him and me aren't talking. Sadly I will be leaving you all to go to summer camp [CIT] in a week and I will be gone for a month. Don't miss me to much .

Joy - Oh a CIT! Nice! I hope you have fun!

I'm going to my dad's this weekend for Father's Day. Well... actually the weekend is half over. So I'm going tomorrow and Monday. My mom and I went Father's Day shopping today and we were both in blah moods. We just saw a table of shirts and picked three shirts and were like 'Okay. Done. Let's go.' LOL. Two of them ended up being the same exact shirts. LOL.

Mel, I was actually a lil bit disappointed going from Ocean's Eleven to Twelve, but I'm glad Thirteen is better! I still plan on seeing it, just don't know when...

Flowers and cash gifts? Sounds pretty cool! I'm glad your work/co-workers are showing so much love!

Jessica, now I understand and I know what you mean! My best friend when I was in elem. - early middle school moved after the sixth grade and things were just different since that point. She moved back and everything, but we just lost that closeness. At least you two are still best friends. It was a hard period when I was younger to not have that closeness...it's kind of weird to think about it now!

Let's go with Boy Meets World for now and then we can switch it up a bit. I'll figure out which one a bit later.

Oh and the prank? It sounds like the beginning of "you know you watch the Office a lot when...." hehe

LOL about your Father's Day shopping. To be honest, I gave my dad his gift last week, just cuz I'm impatient. Hope ya have fun with your dad!

Joy, I don't know if I've even seen 1 whole episode of Grey's. It just never appealed to me for some reason. It's so strange though, because I still know a lot of what's going on just cuz it's that popular!

Sorry about you and your friend, hope you two make up soon and before camp! That sounds like fun by the way! I've never been to camp, but there are so many shows/movies about it that it's always seemed like fun! Oh, and we'll definitely miss ya!
