The Playlist #1 - Getting in the mood

When you write certain scenes you have to be in the mood for them. So this thread is to make a playlist for all our writers. So if you have to write a happy scene, you can listen to some of the songs listed here. Same goes for action scenes or sad scenes or...

Tell us you favorite songs :)

What do people like for fluff and really happy stories?

ooo this is such a cool thread! very interesting

Kelli- Just curious but do you have a song for every chapter?

For fluffy/happy scenes, I don't have any specific songs in mind but a good start for me would be instrumental music (piano, guitar, flute, etc.)

Here's another playlist I worked on last night. Might change. But this is for the mystery story (still no title yet) that I'm planning on after I write my other story.

The plot (for the curious):
A string of mysterious disappearances have occurred in the heart of New York City, mostly involving young, beautiful women. Two bodies have been discovered so far, with a lot more along the way. Although Detective Brewster had been assigned to the case, he enlists the help of Alyssa Carrington, his intern. While investigating the case, Alyssa encounters someone online that offers to give her an insight to the disappearances and murders in exchange for something more. While working on the case, Alyssa tries to piece another difficult puzzle on discovering who exactly O'Derrick is.

The songs aren't quite in order yet, although at least half of them are quite old in some sense. Easy to find though if you know where to look :)

I think for fluffy and happy scenes the artist Maria Mena is very good. She's a pop singer and most of her songs sound very happy and peppy (the melody at least). There's one I absolutely love it's called You're the Only One. She also makes some songs that aren't so much fun, though, like Your Glasses or He's Hurting Me.

Wow! That's quite the playlist :thud:

Great idea for a thread. :) I love it.

I always get inspired by music as well, especially by lyrics or some kind of emotion a song expresses.
