Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick Fanfiction
 

Well I've been completely obsessed with this field of fanfic since I saw Chronicles of Riddick and Pitch Black (in that order). I'm a rabid Riddick/Jack shipper (of course older Jack, not younger, shaved-head, 14 or 15-year-old Jack ;)), and I like Rhiana Griffith's Jack better than I like Alexa Davalos' Jack, but anyway...

Figured I'd open up the venue and see if anyone else shared my obsession and which fics they've come to enjoy the most. :)

I definitely have to recommend Apprentice by Ardath Rekha (NC-17) if you haven't already read it. It's one of the best Riddick/Jack fics, although it doesn't tie in CoR.

I'm sure you'll find more R/J fics at that site (along with tons of fics from all of Vin's fandoms).

I have read it actually, and I totally agree. After hours of scouring that site, "Apprentice" definitely proved to be the diamond in the rough. I don't mind the lack of CoR in Riddick fic -- as much as I loved the movie, it seemed kinda random with relation to the PB story line. Maybe that was the point but...whatever.

I'd also have to rec a few fics myself:

"The Faithful" and "Three for the Money" by Jules

I found these two fics to be the best R/J fics I've ever read. Both characters are represented so well, and the plots she creates are very interesting. Plus, there's good R/J action, some of the best I've seen.

Philosopher Fictionist's FF.net Profile -- there, you should find Convince Me, which I have found to be one of the best R/J's as well. I could go on for hours, but those are some of the ones I've come across over the past couple of months. :)

Nicky - hardly a surprise, is it? :lol: Pitch Black was my first Vin fandom, but I haven't written anything from it.

I LOVE PB/CoR fics! The movies were so great, but CoR was kinda randomly placed. I Don't really like Kyra at all, but I loved Jack. Yes, I do know they're supposed to be the same person. I've been having a lot of trouble finding fanfics that represent the characters well. Nearly all the fics I've read are great, but I feel like I'm reading about completely different characters. Also, nearly every single one of them has sex :P This isn't a terribly bad thing, but a lot of it is PWP, which I generally try to avoid. Has anyone found a good Riddick/Jack story that keeps them true to their characters (well at least keeps Riddick true to his character--criminal looking out for himself) and doesn't have large quantities or overly graphic sex scenes?
