Inspiration Of The Day #1
 

Hello everyone :wave:

I know, I said I was going to bed like half an hour ago and I was already in bed when I had an idea. And since I knew the Moderators would come online soon (and go to bed when I am online again), I figured I shall post this right away so they can close it, if it's not any good.

I intended this thread for everyone to post their inspiration of the day. Something you have read about or a song you've heard or something you have read. Did it inspire you? Do you think it could inspire someone else? Or is it just plain beautiful and you didn't know where else to put it? Then put it here :D

My inspiration for the day would be missing my dog. He died 2 days ago and I miss him like crazy. He was just a little guy, a toy poodle but I he was even a bigger part of my life than I ever imagined. I want to write something to remind me of him.

I was inspired today by the Space Needle. I'm in Seattle and I was thinking about the movie An Affair to Remember, and I had an idea for a fic using that concept.

The Olympics was a good inspiration as well. Seeing really small countries being represented was awesome. It's always been one of the coolest part of the Olympics for me. :nod: A country that doesn't even have 100,000 people having their moment just like the country that has 300 million.

I didn't see the ceremony, but I do love seeing those small countries with just a handful of athletes still being there to participate. It shows amazing spirit!

What inspired me today was a visit to a physics fair. There are so many crazy stuff there, and going with my friends really puts me in a good mood :D
