| I found amazing BtVS Yahoo Groups before I read any fanfiction  & from there my obsession just spiralled Writing it just seemed like the natural progression, but reading back on the earliest fanfics I cringe at just how bad they were - especially as I had the nerve to post them unbeated and rushed out  Does anybody on the board still have their first fanfic? | me, i started getting obssess with beverly hills and charmed... i wanna see more of it..and what better way to satify my cravings?--read fan fics.. i went to fanfiction.net and read every single story they have for charmed and 90210... or atleast every story that includes brenda and prue.. but i still read fic even if there's no brenda and prue depending on the story lines... then when i read everything else, i was like..."maybe i could do my own fic.." then i started typing and before i knew it i have 17 chapters for my 1st story in one writting!!!  i have 6 stories now for both charmed and BH, i started writting last march i think.. but sadly i wasnt updating any of it lately for i have been so busy with other things...  __________________ ryan: i'm heading in your direction, if you wanna ride... bren: how do you know where im heading? ryan: i don't bren: let's go | |||

| I think I started writing/reading fanfiction when 2Ge+her was on MTV. I think. The fic was terrible, but I loved having another world for it. It was just really fun and I had made some friends through it and they did it as well. I remember that a lot of our fics included older versions of us interacting with the guys and the occasional RPF with us included as well. I don't think I ever finished one, though. I think I was about 13 at the time. My first serious fandom to write for was after the second season of Veronica Mars. | Ultimate Fan  | My first fic was chapter 1 of the series I'm still working on... 9 months later It was for a milestone thread. I remember talking to another poster on that thread on msn on the night of the milestone when it hit me that people would be reading my story! I was stunned when I had comments on LJ! Positive comments! I think she was as excited as I was! | |||

| It was probably around 2000 and my first attempts at fanfic and discovering it were in BtVS, Its now 8 years and MANY MANY fandoms later and I havent looked back. Although I still do get odd looks from people who dont know about it and I explain that it IS becoming more norm than it used to! | |||
