So how does this work? People recommend their own work or can we recommend fics? And do they have to be on to recommend their work? Just curious?

I'm pretty sure the way it goes is, that you can pimp up your own or others. It's a place for all Hairspray fics, here or LJ or FF.net, whether the author is around or not. I mean who doesn't love when there fic gets a shout out!

Recommend away. Let the love show.

And don't be afraid to pimp, off pairings. It takes all kinds to make the world a happy place!
