| Recd these before to someone... on the B/S thread. I second the Nautibitz and Kantayra recs--esp. Douple Spiked by Kantayra--that is if smut is your thing. If you don't mind AUs (meaning all human, no slayers, no vamps, etc.) another AU that I really think is pretty well written is Echidna's fic, Touch of Jealousy. Twining Vines, a post-early season six fic, is good too. And as for other canon fic, oh man, if you like to read dark angst that's definitely on the painful side, please, please, please, please read ALL of KJ Draft's stuff. First up, Still life in Sunnydale is a must. And you kind of like Spaith right? If you don't mind threesomes, read the Spike/Buffy/Faith fic Loan Out. Ok, moving on, A Spuffy fanfic CLASSIC is Annie Sewell Jennings'--The Last Summer. And if you like that fic, read The Ballad of Randy and Joan. Both are real tear-jerkers, IMO. (FYI allaboutspike.com] is a great Spike fanfic archive site. All quality, IMO. If you're only interested in reading Spuffy fic, just do a pairing search for them. It'll weed out the rest.) Ozfan, writes great shippy spuffy drama and parody fic (in jest though. Oh and coughreadherSpaithficFearandLoathinginRevelloDrivecough) BuffyX--Read her Spuffy fic. Read her journal. She's awesome! She's got a yen for the OC and you do too, right? http://www.livejournal.com/users/buffyx/ Go to Nautibitz's Spuffy fic rec page, she's got good taste in fanfic, IMO. If you actually check out her page, she puts up a broken link for Valerie X's fic SUPER FOOD WORLD. For the sake of all that is good and pure in this world ... >CLICK HERE< DutchBuffy, she writes good Spuffy and Spaith fic. HarmonyFB--Glimpses is her defining Spike/Buffy fic. My personal fave though is the WIP Backward Glances (Warning lots of Spike/Dawn. And evil bitca soulless vamp Buffy is featured in this one.) The prequel Dangerous is a solely Spuffy one shot fic. Not exactly a fluffy and light-hearted romp either though. Kalima. Her fics are totally underrated. But I guess that's how it is when an author doesn't have a gigantic body of work to show for their talent. Oh well. I say, read KETCHUP BLOOD first. If you like that, read the rest of her fics. Carolyn Claire. It's another one shot, so it won't take long to read. The Sound of Your Voice. Can you say creepy? Mahaliem. Her style is in the vein of Kalima's...I think. Ergo, right up my alley. It's been awhile, but I think the one that made me a fan was MIRROR. Then I suggest: TEN MINUTES PAST THE HOUR BECAUSE IT'S WRONG A DEMON'S DEAL The SOUVENIR AND THE SEED I really think I could go on forever, but last but not least, MustangSally and Rivkat's post-fool for love series- pThe Bowiehabarata If you read some of the fics I rec'd, as you will see, I'm a slave to the angst. | Any good fics with S2 (evil) Spike and Buffy? And when I say good, I mean, believable - I've seen too many fics with them pulling off their clothes and suddenly wanting each other for no apparent reason. I like a little plot to my story. I've already read "The Butterfly Effect" by CousinJean, and I thought it was friggen' awesome, so I'm looking for something a little comparitive. Any help would be appreciated. Smutty as is most of her work, but well written too. I highly reccommend it. The Chains Series by Lynn. Probably will never be finished. But still worth the read. Paradise Lost by Belladonnaroses.
