2003 Spooky Awards (X-Files)
Here's the link:
http://2003.spookyawards.org/winners.shtml I haven't read any of the stories, nor do I recognize any of the winning authors' names (except for frogdoggie and Mik, but I recognize them as authors of Mulder/Skinner slash, which I've never gotten into). Spooky Award winners are elected by an open ballot. I'm linking here because it's sort of inspiring to see a fandom still this prolific several years after the show went off the air, and as a resource for people who may have gotten into the show more recently, from DVD's or reruns. |

Thanks for the link pixiedude.
It's great to see the X-Files fandom still thriving. I've never gotten into their fanfic, but it is heartening to see the fandom alive and well. I wish I could say the same for mine. However, I get the feeling that there may be too many categories in the Spooky Awards. I was scrolling down, reading all the winners in categories and the page didn't seem to end! 'Outstanding stories set outside Washington DC', 'Outstanding same gender threesome stories', 'Outstanding mixed gender threesome stories'... it feel a little like splitting hairs. __________________
