it was but honestly its the only thing positive for me, I was bored to tears cause it had that old gangster feel with that god awful theatrical music or whatever, then that old school shoot out . Well at least we are gonna finally get the animated version next time

That's actually one of the things I loved most about it!
But I get it, this episode was supposed to be an homage to film noir, and personally I absolutely love film noir, but I understand how if you don't like the genre you wouldn't like this episode. Or the very least enjoy it all the way through because they went full homage to the genre, from the clothing to the directing, to the music, and even the acting! __________________
