Priestly is just SO amazing, he alone could represent the whole concept of the movie. I love when he gets mad because people look at the wrapping paper and not at what's on the inside

I fell for him in that moment, because before he spoke like that he was just awasome and funny and really cute, but suddendly under the tattoo and the colored hair and the crazy clothes there was a real man, the kind of man you waited all your life to meet, and here he is, right in front of you, praying that you'll look at him and will actually see him

just amazing. Jensen really nailed him.

What bugged me though was that he had to take the wrapping off before anybody noticed just how awesome he was.

He shouldn't have had to.

It made no sense for him to change to get Tish, it would have been completely different, if as Priestly he went up to her and asked her out and she said yes, and then he shows up as Boaz, but to be Boaz while asking her out? NOPE!

And it was those last few minutes that made it kinda sad, that after everything Priestly preached the whole movie, he caved in to the need to be with someone and changed

Now had they continued the movie a little more and had him go back to his done up hair and piercings, it would have been better, that he was simply trying to prove a point.

Though the scene did crack me up, from his name being Boaz to the banana republic remark

Yeah, I found that sad too but I think that the others were iding themselfs in their fears and with their lies, while Priestly was hiding himself behind his look, so the change could be seen as his leap of faith, you know..

Well, but it's not like they considerd him in a different way after, infact the night before, after the beating, Tish looked at him when she promised to go out with another kind of guy, but I understand the feeling you got because I had it too.

preistly was not 'hiding' behind his look or whatever they are trying to say. he CHANGED to get the girl and that's just a REALLY REALLY bad message and completely ruiined the movie for me. anytime i watch it now i only watch up until the final 10 minutes.

It was sweet. And it was a cute scene. Just it didn't fully fit with the way the rest of the movie played out, it seemed out of place/character.

They were the best! Totally added to the story, which is kind of amazing.

My ideal ending would have been Tish walking into the sandwich shop with mohawk, kilt wearing Priestly doing his thing and she asks him out!

The t-shirts are the second best thing about the film.

I so want to know that Jensen kept at least one of them!
