We need the rain too, we had a really wet fall, but the ground is getting so dry. Sloughs that are usually wet are drying up. Hopefully June will bring some rain, that seems to be what's happened the last couple of years.

I had another crazy day at work but now I'm off for two weeks!

Bee what is Downward Dog about? I've seen some of the promo's but I'm so confused

I haven't checked the fall schedule properly yet so I've got no idea what I'll be watching.

So...I've decided to put my studies on hold. There's some big family things going on, positive things, that require a lot of my time and energy so....ultimately this was the right decision.

Hi Amy Thanks so much for dropping in.

Gelly, Downward dog is strange It's centered around a dog named Martin. It's like his life's documentary, he talks t the camera and discusses what's going on in his life, like how he's training his human, and keeping her safe etc. It's so cute, I'm not doing it justice. When he talks he gives us his perspective on how he sees things, but we see it how it's actually playing out. Like he thinks the cat is an emotional terrorist and is a safety threat, and we see a cat. And Martin starts to think he's this superior being because he can open the door with his mind (it's a doggie door that open because of his collar) and the cat gets in, and his human picks it up and throws it back outside, and Martin is in awe because she shows no fear, things like that. And he's completely in love with her, he thinks the world of her. It's so sweet. Both episodes have made me tear up at certain points because it's just so sweet. Like I said I'm not doing it justice, if you get the chance I'd at least give the pilot a try.

That's great news about the family. Not only is it something positive but it will probably do some good to take a break from the classes and get away from that stress, school will always be there.

Positive things is good, Gelly. And yes, your studies will always be there. One of my professors got her PhD at 60 years old, so it's never too late to go back.

We had a busy few days with going to explore downtown with my cousins and eating out a lot and over at family/friends so it has been pretty tiring. Ready to finish my three days of my regular teaching job and tackle the week of training for my summer teaching job. God speed. I also have one last exam this week for my graduate class! I got this.
