"The Real Ghostbusters"

Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck's (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean.

One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene.

Jim Conway directed the episode with teleplay by Eric Kripke and story by Nancy Weiner.

I'm not looking forward to seeing Becky again, but the clip and preview Space showed looks like it could be a fun episode.

Since Castiel isn't in the published books, looks like another Cas free episode.

Damn you Kripke! ....but that would make it 3 down and only 2 more to go, so after hiatus it's like Castiel all the time!

It was a cute ep. The whole role playing thing was starting to get annoying but I suppose in the end it lead to a point. Driving the point through Dean's head that his life isn't complete suckage as he thinks.

Also a fat Dean was just an amusing thought. Heh.

Chuck was awesome though.

And that was a nice little tidbit about the colt at the end. Interesting. Becky finally proved to be useful.

Next week looks good.

things that are awesome so far.. IMPALAS + HOMOEROTIC SUBTEXT. LOL and chuck/becky are totally my new het otp of the show. lolz. the batman voices, all the sam and deans, the fake emf reader. just everything bout this episode is amazing and awesome. really i need a bumper in between gabriel bombshell of last episode and the episode next week.

lolz of course dean would hit on someone at the convention. "okay one stay in character... if it's just me i look stupid" one of the greatest lines ever, lmao "wow fast runner" nope that was. dean's entire rant was amazing, it was very sad though, i mean i kind of figured he thought about... it's just sad to hear and the larpers are hilarious

"just give her the puppy dog thing" even dean knows about sam's puppy dog thing, but he lets him get away with it! LOLZ. and they like the bungee thing. lolz. and sam almost got to save the day... before he get wrestled by the creepy kids... and why is it always creepy kids. and chuck was a badarse this episode! woot! and yeah chuck/becky are totally the het otp of this show. just saying.

actually no the best thing in the entire world were the last scenes. con!sam and dean telling dean how awesome his life is and dean's like "TO HAVE A BROTHER WHO'D DIE FOR YOU .... WHO WOULDN'T WANT THAT?"......"yeah i guess it is". AND THEN CON!SAM AND DEAN ARE 'MORE THAN FRIENDS, PARTNERS' KRIPKE I THINK I LOVE YOU MORE THAN I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF. GREATEST THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. JFC. I LOVE YOU! and ho crap becky + chuck knew where the colt was the entire f'ing time and just told them now. JFC. AWESOME. AND CROWLEY <3333333 and i really loved becky's break up scene with sam. lolz. sam is one good actor! and sam's line of "no not really we have guns and we'll find you" was HILARIOUS. AND THEN DEAN'S SMIRK <333 OMG WHY SO CUTE DEAN?

and next week? HOLY CRAP. YESSS and i actually am excited about dean/jo. that looked like a really sweet kiss. and seriously with jo coming back, we all knew it was happening, now the question is it a pity/last night screw or more? and and and and THERE WAS NO CASTIEL (NOT EVEN A MENTION) THIS WEEK. BRB PARTYING

I ranted and raved on the SPN board...so if anybody wants to hear it, they can check it over there...not much of it had to do with Jensen or Dean...so I wont do my usual cut and paste.

Jensen as always was amazing. Really liked how Dean handled the situation and how he ended up liking the LARPing Dean and Sam.

Over all, not a great episode.

Next weeks looks good!

Actually will not mind seeing Jo/Dean, which I never thought I'd say.

....and FINALLY SOME CAS TIME!!

anywhoo, i thought the episode was okay! the "sam" and "dean" were so cute together. i totally lol'ed when they announced the "homoerotic subtext panel", omg! LMAO!

OH MY GOD! That was freaking hilarious. I love this episode soooo much. It definately has a place in my top ten.

I wasn´t really looking forward to this episode. I was thinking again a funny one I want drama for god sake but that was so great and so awesome - I can´t put it into words how much I enjoyed this episode.

Chuck was great as always. Especially when he is on stage and the audience is waiting for what he has to say and he drinks the water from this buttle on and on and on. And then later when he tells them what the like to hear or don´t like to hear and again goes on and on and on.

I am glad that Castiel wasn´t in it - he wouldn´t have fiting in.

I love Jensens acting when he tells the conDean and con Sam that his life sucks and they do care a lot. It was perfectly played out from him.

I love Sam with Becky and I find it so cute that in the end he pretend to be heartbroken it was such a sweet thing to do. And when he is on the phone and Becky is throwing kiss hands on him and he stands there a little awkward and his waving her. I love that he is so thoughful and caring and does so much just to not hurt her feelings. Jared plays this awkward situation on the phone so well - without any words you can tell what Sam is thinking and how he is feeling.

The conDean and conSam are sympathic, too. I like that they in the end want to help them and put their life into danger just to help all this people, because that what Sam and Dean would have done. And I love what conDean tells Dean at the end about Deans life and that it doesn´t suck. He is saving the world and has a brother who would die for you in a second. I think that it is good for Dean to hear these words and get some kind of approval for what they are doing.

And the beginning when they first enter the convention I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes...it was brilliant.

That the lead to the colt came from Becky was although a great idea. Of course she knows the books better then anyone!!!

I wasn't looking foward this episode,but I was pleasantly surprised.I really liked it,but definitely not in my top 10.
-Becky didn't annoy me that much

-Chuck was AWESOME
-I missed Castiel

But nah, I get what your saying. It wasn't the greatest, and for a November eppy it was downright disappointing. It had it's cute points, this would have been better if played off as a filler ep though.

well I'm glad somebody likes them, Bee rants never run short.

But I do agree, it was a lame episode to have durring sweeps, much better suited for later on in the season as one of those episode just before they start winding up the season.
