It's super exhausting, there is no such thing as sleep.

Starts with registration and goes all the way into the late hours of Sunday, because you wait around for your photo ops

and re-ups etc. Then you're busy catching up with everybody before they leave. You need vacation after a con.

but the fun...it's priceless.

I really wish you could go to one.

I'd love if one of these years you could come to Vancon, but if not, then at least one closer to you.

There's on in Italy. I think that's the closest they get.

If you need help with anything or have any questions, just let us know.

I'm not going to the SF con, but I have been to cons before, and can say that you don't have to worry about not knowing anybody at a con, it's a really friendly atmosphere. You start making friends from the start, like waiting in line at registration, or your seat buddy, auto lines, photo op lines etc. Everybody loves to gush/discuss their favorite actor/character etc. There are a couple of rotten apples, who drink to much or talk to loud or only seem to be there to bitch...but they are out numbered by a million.

You'll have a blast. And Creation volunteers are wonderful. If you ever have a question, find one and they will get you on the right track.

As for meeting people who are actually going to your con...have you tried facebook? Most cons have a facebook group.
