The Man Who Knew Too Much

The wall comes down in Sam's (Jared Padalecki) head and all hell breaks loose. Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Bobby (Jim Beaver) are, for once, at a total loss on how to help him and are forced to stand by and do nothing while Sam breaks. The battle for heaven comes to a head.

Robert Singer directed the episode written by Eric Kripke.

I did not see that coming! ...good episode, a bit too Sam centric for me, but all in all good episode.

I'm worried about Cas though, now apparently Misha is not a 'regular' next season, hopefully that doesn't count him out as a recurring character.

I think he will be recurring, I doubt the show will really dare to totally push Misha off for good until maybe when the show ends. And really, him being a regular didn't make much difference in his episode count or contribution. I mean, even Jim Beaver had more episodes this year than Misha did. And even when Misha was back in Season 4 as a guest star he had more episodes than this year.

I think it may be more of budget issue, they do pay him more as regular than guest star so they are probably thinking of that.

I'm still holding onto Dean/Cas. That bond is still there, they have to fix it.

I think it has to do with money too, or maybe Misha wanting more time to spend with his family.

I think Dean and Cas can be repaired.

Their connection is far too strong to disappear. And Cas is family, nothing is more important to Dean then family. If the writers stick to the characters and don't go OOC, Dean's going to do what he can to get the real Cas back.
