Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigates a case about missing babies whose parents are being murdered. At one of the crime scenes, he discovers a baby that was left behind and calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. Reluctant to leave Lisa (guest star Cindy Sampson) and Ben (guest star Nicholas Elia), Dean finally agrees to meet Sam and surprises his brother with how parental he has become. The brothers take the baby to Samuel (Mitch Pileggi), who decides to raise it as a hunter, which infuriates Dean. However, before they can decide the baby's future, a shape-shifter breaks in and attempts to kidnap the baby.

Interesting very interesting. Shame on Gramps for wanting to raise a baby in such a way! Has he learn nothing of what that does to children! Talk about offending a person! Poor Dean. I wanna see adorable parental Dean even though I probably have a brain breakage while doing so! Can't wait 'til Friday!

Sounds good from the description. And I can't wait to see parental Dean. I have my suspicions about Grandpa Samuel. And maybe the brothers can get a little closer again at least I hope they will with every new episode.

I absolutely adore this episode!!!! It was soooooooooooooooooooo great!
And the ending was just WOW WOW WOW!!!!! The Impala is back and in just a fantastic way! The music – the camera movement – and Dean – PERFECT!

But back to the start.
Two shock and gross moments before the title sequence – ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww Igitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt


I like Dean with Ben even if he is yelling at him. I can understand that he is worried about him and don´t want him near a gun. But that wasn´t working really well here.

Sam finding the baby was very suspenseful and then his phonecall to Dean – awesome.

The hotelroomscene was kind of cute and Sam looked a little like old Sammy here. Smiling at Dean and the baby, who got her diapers changed.

I love the scene in the shopping center – it is so hilarious!!!!
Sam “make it stop” and Dean checking the baby up and down. I had tears in my eyes from laughing. And I was really surprised that the woman was a shapeshifter – I didn’t saw that coming.

When they brought the baby to Samuel and the Campbells, I don´t know what to think about it. Maybe I have to watch it again (because my sound was really bad) to get all that was going on. I like that Sam stepped in everytime someone that something bad to Dean. At least that was what I got from that scene.

Shapeshifter Sam was to short for me and again Jensen was the one who had to play against himself. I would love it more the other way. But of course both of them were great doing it.
As was Mitch as Samuel and SS Samuel.

The last scene between Sam and Dean got me worried about my Sammy. I am torn if I should believe Sam about what he told to Dean about the baby or not. But I have to see it again with better sound to really have a opinion on it.

And I love Lisa in this episode!!!!! This is exactly what I hoped would happen to get Dean back on the road. As I said before she is indeed the right woman for Dean. She handles everything what has happenend in these last two episodes like a adult woman, who loves this man and tries to make it as easy for him as possible.

And then came theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee highlight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can´t tell you how much I love this very last scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I screamed when I realised what will happen and it was brilliant and the Impala couldn´t have been back in a more awesome way then this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I will watching it again today (hopefully with better sound) and maybe have more to say about it!

Dean with the baby was totally cute.

I still don't like the Campbells and I don't think I will warm up to them if it goes on like this. And I still think they are unnecessary additions. And bringing up that Dean tortured souls in the pit was really mean and low. Though I gotta say I liked that Sam stood up for him and said "He's my brother". But I think Sam is keeping secrets from Dean and is on about something with Samuel. Though Sam in this epi was better then in the previous one and I agree that in the hotel scene when he watched Dean with the kid we got a glance of his old self I think.

But I gotta say I was a little bored with the whole story. 15 minutes in and I was still waiting for something to happen and only the baby cuteness kept me interested. It could have been such a great story about the alpha shapeshifter but it was kind of flat for me. I kept remembering the S1 shapeshifter episode.

I felt sorry for Dean when he was tormenting himself about what to do, stay or go. It was surprising that Lisa was the voice of reason when she said to Dean to go back hunting because that's who he is. She was really mature about the whole situation. I really liked that she understood that now with Sam back things change and offered Dean that she and Ben will be there for him whenever he comes by. She is the right woman for Dean and she surely cares about him.

The last scene was absolutely awesome with Dean and the Impala! Finally they are back! The last shot of Dean was beautiful!

I have a lot to say...but I'll give the coles notes version...because it's more pg then the real version.

Didn't like it. Dean was adorable...but it all seemed so...fake. Like the flow sucked, the jokes were to obvious. You know?

Sam is pissing me off with his loyality to the Campbells...this will end up being Ruby all over again.

Campbells are just pissing me off period.
