"The Curious Case Of Dean Winchester"

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover a witch (guest star Hal Ozsan) is running a high-stakes poker game where the currency is life years vs. money. Bobby (Jim Beaver) sees the game as a chance to get out of the wheelchair and bets 25 years, but loses. As Bobby begins to age rapidly, Dean steps in to save him but also ends up turning into an old man, leaving Sam holding the bag for their survival.

Robert Singer directed the episode with teleplay by Sera Gamble and story by Sera Gamble & Jenny Klein.

I've seen Sneak Peek and it really looks like a good (and funny)episode.

I'm sad with the lack of Cas though.

Really good episode!

Chad was AMAZING as Dean! That is a man that went and did his homework! You can tell he spent time with Jensen

It's nice to know that even at 80 Dean will still be a smart ass.

Loved that Hal Ozen was in this episode, I wonder if He and Jensen swaped Dawson Creek stories?

They never had any scenes together but they must have met each other at some point.

LOVED Pascale Hutton on here!

I haven't really scene her in anything since Traveler, my gosh she's gorgeous!!

This is the kinda actress they should cast in a regular role.

Not because she's pretty but she can do emotion like crazy! and ok yeah she's pretty.

I was liking Sam...but...than Patrick had to go and say that Sam pretended to be worried about Dean to throw him off. eh. My gut feeling is that no way Sam pretended that much, that yes he was worried about Dean and there was no acting in there whatsoever...because what does he get with old dead Dean? Nothing! But there is still that 0.01% of me thinking eh maybe.

Damnit! I want my faith in Sam back.

LOVED the Dean/Bobby talk!! awww!

it's about time we had that Dean/Bobby moment!

and I love that Dean risked getting girly parts to let Bobby know what he was feeling!

Sam with the Clap?!

Yeah that was just priceless!

Overall Great Episode! It's nice to have an episode that doesn't drill the fact that the world is ending.

I like this episode.

And I like it even more then Sam saved the day. He got sneezed from everyone from Patrick, from Dean and from Bobby. I just love how he plays the game and then win and Patrick says that there is more then it catchs the eyes.

And I love Patrick. Maybe the reason is that I love this actor since Dawsons Creek but he was such a good villian. Not completely evil and I believe he really loved that woman. Somehow I am glad that they didn´t kill him.

Deans and Bobbys talks were heartbreaking and the last one heartwarming. I love it when Dean says that Bobby is family and that he shouldn´t think about checking out again. I couldn´t agree more with Dean in that matter. Bobby is all they have left and he is such a great father figure to both of them.

My only complain of this episode is that it hasn´t enough Jensen in it. The older guy did a good job as Dean but with just the few minutes he was in that episode Jensen shows how much is missing when he isn´t in it.

And one minor other complain is that I would have loved a talk between Dean and Sam after Sam had won and not only Bobby. But maybe it is better this way because it shows that Sam has nothing to prove to either of them.

I totally loved this episode!! Sam, Dean as his older self, and Bobby just took my breath away. Loved Dean and Bobby's talk at the end, it was so very sweet and Dean is totally right. Bobby should NEVER walk out on them!!!! He's the only person he and Sam have left. AWESOME episode I can't even describe it!

I really enjoyed it except for two things, the lack of Jensen.

While old Dean was fantastic, a bit more Jensen wouldn't have hurt, although I was really happy Jensen finally got some time off!

He deserved it.

...and yes no Cas.

Cas-less episodes just seem so wrong.

But at least we got Sam with the clap and a Dean happy dance!

that softened the blow!
