Castiel (Misha Collins) appears to Dean (Jensen Ackles) in a dream and says he has something important to tell him but they need to meet somewhere private.

Dean and Sam (Jared Padalecki) go searching for Castiel but instead find Jimmy, Castiel's human vessel, who has only a spotty recollection of being an angel.

Jimmy wants to return to his family and normal life, but Dean and Sam are concerned about his safety.

Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver.

DEAN/JENSEN - ummm why the hell was he dreaming about fishing? dammit now i want fisherman fic. but seriously who in the world would be listening on inside his head? how could they be doing that? i don't get it and im a little scared. anyway his "remember when our job was helping people" made me smile and mad because i remember and i want those boys back! i miss those boys! i miss those episodes! "was it a refreshing coke" haha dean is having too much fun with sam losing jimmy! lol "talk to ginormo" aww dean one liners! i LOVED dean in this! even though he knew it was best for jimmy to come with them he was soo sad seeing jimmy lying to his family and probably would have given anything for that not to happen. dean is worried about sam's mojo? that is a new one.. i mean i guess i get it.. but it's still a new one yea! dean with the plans! haha once again dean's plans don't seem to work. "yea well nobody bats a thousand" "your wearing a soccer mom" i love dean i really really do. but MY GOD that face he gives when he finds out SAM was drinking DEMON BLOOD?! That episode was a-freaking-mazing. I love Castiel/Jimmy and Sam is breaking my heart but of course Dean picks up the pieces and makes it all better by just being there.

When Dean witnessed Sam drinking demon blood I honestly bolted out of my seat. I knew Sam's shady behavior would get the best of him and stuff would hit the fan sooner than later but when it actually happened it still came as a shock to me. And Dean's reaction, was intense. But alas I knew he wouldn't do nothing, I'm glad he and Bobby set up a much needed intervention although by the looks of the preview won't hold Sammy back for long.

I swear, cannot wait until next week. It's going to be EPIC.

I'm in the middle of a season one marathon and this line stuck out to me the most. I completely and utterly miss those days with a passion. Saying they've fallen far from where they once were would be the world's biggest understatement. I don't even want to think about the implications of the promo, because it was pretty obvious from the get-go where this season was going.

I'm seriously crying here! It has always been my theory that this would happen....but I never actually thought It'd come true!!!!!!!!

Tonight was an awesome episode! I knew it would be though being focused on Castiel.

It was great to see Misha playing a different side to Castiel. The emotions he brought to Jimmy were awesome! But I have to say that I just love him as Castiel the most. he may not show any emotions, but yet I still feel them. Especially when he's with Dean. Their friendship is so great! Although the ending of tonight's episode kinda has me worried that their friendship won't be the same again.

Anywho...I wanted to fall in the floor and crawl away when I saw Sam drinking the demon's blood!! WTF Sam? I know you're going a little crazy right now, but are you that desperate?! And Dean's face! OMG! I wanted to hug him! I pretty much feel the exact same way that Dean said he felt in the car. Of course he's disappointed, but he's done with it. That's exactly how I feel.

And Holy Sheep!!! The previews!!! So it's definitely coming down to Dean vs. Sam! It's gonna be intense and EPIC!!

btw Casey, I don't think Dean is becoming an angel. I think he's asking to be saved by God. That's what Castiel meant when he was rambling off all those things. I think Dean will become a full fledged believer in God and all good things. This will give him the strength for the upcoming battle. Plus, I think he wants to try and save Sam. Pretty much what Dean's journey has been set up to go since the beginning of this season. He started out as a non-believer and now he's finally taking that big leap of faith.

Favourite scene when Anna "drops" in . Jensen was good i'm kind of bummed that Dean wants to quit though.
