Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a small town where the wishing well really works. A teddy bear comes to life, someone wins the lottery and the town geek gets a hot girlfriend. The brothers realize that while everyone is happy now, the end result will be disastrous. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

What with FF down we haven't had the chance to squee about this episode.

So because I loved, loved, loved this episode I have to go ahead and squee about it anyway.
Ben Edlund is just a crazy genius! It was so beyond silly but that didn't matter, I was still laughing my arse off! And even though it was ridiculous as hell it still had a subtle heartbreaking charm to it. Not to mention all the angsty cry your eyes out moments. Oh poor broken Dean! *squishes him* But I'll get back to that one later.

Little Audery was adorable!

"Why am I here?"
"For tea party's!" That teddy bear was awesome! Blowing his fluffy cotton brains out and then shaking his fist in the air shouting "why!" OMG! I feel so wrong for laughing at that scene so much!

Oh and Ted Rami! : He was fantastic in this episode! I love that guy. And I loved the little Spiderman in-joke they threw in too. "With great powers come great respon..." *bam*

And that kid was great! "Kneel before Todd!"

And for all the brotherly loveliness! Doing everything in synch together and all the looks between them! It felt like the good old days again.

"Damn right I wanted to save some naked women." Oh boys!

Plus Sammy seemed his usual puppy dog sensitive self again, which makes me so happy and I hope it stays that way! Although I found it a little disturbing that his wish was to have Lilith's head on a plate. Even Dean found that unnerving! So I guess all vengeful Sammy is still around and my little moment of happiness might be short lived.

But after all that laughing the last scene had me in tears! I was dying to find out whether Dean was going to admit to remembering about hell to Sam and I'm glad they answered it in this episode cause it would have driven me mad otherwise!
Jensen rocked the scene, as always! Just seeing Dean all broken, telling Sammy that he can never be fixed and Sammy's concerned look on his face desperately wanting to be able to take Dean's pain away. It just broke my heart! And even though it's gonna break me even more I so badly need to know what happened to Dean in hell!

Scene stealer award goes to....TEDDY!! OMG! I didn't know if I should laugh or cry when he tried to kill himself, his big eyes all teary, and then the stuffing flying out. and he still doesn't die, which makes me really happy Dean didn't light him on fire! ...andthen at the end where Audrey is walking and we see he had a bandaid! OMG!
