I hope it shapes up to be better. ....Riverdale is based on the Archie comics. Archie, Veronica, Betty, Jughead...the whole gang. Except it's darker, much much darker. Not Afterlife Archie dark, nobody is a zombie yet but the season started out with the murder of Jason Blossom and the season was spent trying to figure out who did it and why. But it has it's light moments too, some comedy and romance thrown in.

It certainly has it's teeny bopper moments. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it even with all the teeny bopper moments. (Plus it has Skeet Ulrich and Luke Perry...that helps. )

I spent the night with a stomach flu...not fun.

If it's any consolation I can squee with you about Riverdale cause I watched the first three episodes tonight and I didn't just like it I love it! It's so goooood!

Gelly, I think everybody has it wrong about Cloe, she wasn't put in Lucifer's path to destroy him but to save him. :nod At least that's my theory. Trixie and Lucifer are just too cute! OMG!

So glad you're enjoying Riverdale! It really sneaks up on you, like I went into it more curious then anything, and I thought the pilot was kinda slow, hardly any Jughead, they were already touching the Archie/Betty/Veronica triangle, but I gave it another chance and I fell in love with it. It has it's cheesy moments, but it's definitely interesting. Any faves yet? Character/ship etc?

Faith you really should. It's a nice distraction from reality.

Bee I totally agree with your theory about Chloe

I enjoyed it [Riverdale] so much that I'm now completely caught up in it I actually really liked the pilot cause it reminded me of late 90's early 2000's mystery/Halloween eps so it gave me a bit of nostalgia. I live for the cheese! No fav ships, but definitely fav characters: Jughead , Veronica, and Josie and the Pussycats.

Faith I agree with Bee you should check it out it's a hell of a lot fun and interesting

I got my eyeglasses today! I definitely needed them, now I just gotta slowly get used to wearing them.

Gelly, I just hope it doesn't take too long for Lucifer to figure it out. I'm so worried because it's on FOX. I know we're getting S3, but with the way they treated s2 I worry.

You caught up a little too soon, one more week and you could have watched the whole season. What I like about it, is you that you can watch an episode and not know when it's taking place, like sure they have cell phones and that, but it just has a timeless feel, you know? My fave character is Jughead, I ship Bughead...and I have such a soft spot for FP...he better be in S2.

Glasses. are you noticing a big difference?

Bee, yeah with FOX you should always worry. It was so rude of them [FOX] to take episodes away from s2 just because they had a scheduling problem and had to accommodate another show.

That's how good it is! I couldn't resist the temptation. Agree, and they don't make pop culture references or even commentary about things going on right now so it doesn't really age itself. Oh I really like FP, I thought I was going to hate him but he really grew on me, I hope we see him in s2 too.

I am! I can't wear them all day long yet cause I'm not used to wearing glasses and it's a strong prescription but when I put them on I notice a really big (and positive) difference both when seeing things far away and when seeing things up close.

I knew I'd love FP just because Skeet was playing him...but it helps that he's growing as a character.

sorry for the dp but...

We had a bear in the yard today! ...well I say yard, we kinda have three yards, we have the house yard, then behind that the barn yard and then past that it's not really a 'pasture' but it's like the cattle yard-ish...anyway it was right behind the barn, we're sitting on the step talking and it catches are eye at the same time and we're like, what is that? is that the dog, nope right beside us, what the f..HOLY CRAP! IT's a BEAR! Dogs in the house! Jessie in the house! Cat in the house! (the house was closer and safer then the barn) but he didn't mean or do any harm. The horses spotted him and came closer and it spooked him off. And the way the cows were acting, they were cautious but not scared, so he's been around before. I'm just glad he wasn't out earlier today because I was walking right there without a care in the world.

wait what, a bear?!!!! well at least it seemed like a scary bear or neighborly bear since the cows are possibly pals with it if I saw a bear I'd probably pee my pants and Bee, thanks so much, I may have to take you up on that, this RL situation is tough regarding the job, nothing yet.

Bee you saw a bear?! That's so awesome!!! I mean concerning for the safety of your animals, wild animals and farm animals don't exactly have the friendliest of histories but still, that's so awesome! If I ever saw a bear in my yard and I was outside I'd probably have to be picked up and thrown into my house cause I'd want to stay outside looking and probably cooing at the bear. I love bears

I'm not sure if they had already been filmed but what I do know is that they had been planned for s2 and they are written. Basically what happened was that back in Oct. FOX ordered 4 extra episodes for the 2nd season turning it into a full season order (22 episodes), they announced it, the writers created 4 standalone episodes, and then in March FOX decided to cut those four episodes from s2 and move them to s3. So s3 should consist of 22 episodes and s2 has gone back to what it originally was 18 episodes.
