| i think the turning point for future!dean to turn into what he was... torturing, leaving friends behind when he thought it was called for, etc.. was probably when sam said yes  i think after a few years without sammy there, he turned harder, more on edge more 2014!dean.. but when sam said yes, i think he just started throwing caution to the win and not really caring  __________________ "because whatever we have between us - love, family, whatever it is" | |||

I mean it does makes sense, they've spent years driving the point home that Sam is all he has, so once Sam actually said yes he would have known there was no coming back. At least while they were separated there could have been hope that once day they would be together again. Sam saying yes just ended it all though, cause then no matter what happened, win or lose, Dean would still have nothing when it was all over. Unfortunately as they showed us, he fails at the one thing he at least wanted to succeed in doing before he died. Hmm. Alot of discussion can come out of The End.
