You know, it's my curse. I read all of the Wet Work series, and I warn you DO NOT read the end. Once again, Max dies without a warning. My heart broke for Alec. Does every story I read have to end like that?

Thanks for the heads up! ....I've had my full of death fics for the moment. Supernatural is full of them. I don't mind some angst but death really isn't needed for my fave characters and/or pairings.

I agree. Death in fics makes them and of course me depressed.

Agreed and some writers just do it do darn good. *nod* there is one that pops into mind about Sam...don't know if I rec'd it...but it had me crying like a baby.

I know. That's what's painful. My favorite writer wrote a sooooooo sad Rory&Tristan death in the end story, when they were finally together and I was oh so happy. And OF COURSE she had to go and kill Tristan along the way. Poor us, huh?
