^Same here, the new episode was a huge let-down. After their disappointing reunion I was at least hoping for a Sam/Dean's talk, a moment when they talk, e.g. in the Impala at the very end of the episode, but we got nothing

I was dissapointed as well in the reunion, first of all how does both Dean and Cas super skilled get caught up in a trap and Mary just waltz in and saves the day? then the brit dude shows up as well and the brit chick still gets to live? what evs....spare me.

Hmmm, I wouldn't call it that yet... My guess is bad writing, just omitting the boys' relationship, how close they are and giving us nothing where there should have been a nice emotional brotherly scene. And then no Sam/Dean scene whatsoever, no talk, let us just ignore the fact that Sam was tortured and thought Dean was dead. I get it that Mary is back and it's shocking and great for the boys blah blah, but still, nothing?

That's what's really bothering me. They're dumbing/weakening down Dean to make Mary look better. NO! We get it, Mary was a kick ass hunter...her boys must have got it from somewhere, but they can show that while still having the boys be the same.

Aga, I'm going with bad writing as well, that pair of writers have proven time and time again to be horrible, I don't think we've gotten a decent episode from them yet. Which is just sad really because one of them is Robert Singers wife. I don't begrudge either Sam or Dean their Mary moment...but the show has been on the show for 12 seasons because of the Dean/Sam moments! They can't forget that!

I hope the writers won't forget that it's all about Sam and Dean... The show wouldn't last for 12 seasons if it was about two brothers hunting with their parents/parent... It's the brotherly bond that so important.

Well any chance I was going to give Mary, went flying out the window tonight. She has no idea the amount of damage she did to Dean tonight. With all his abandonment issues, to have this happen. And if Sam even dares try to make excuses for her, I'm going to kick him in the shin!
