It better happen. It's Sam's turn to be the hero, I think Dean needs that as well. He's forgiven Sam but I think there is a part of him that still has those abandonment issues, especially with Sam.

Totally agree regarding Dean abandonment issued, it cuts really deep when Sam lets him down and Dean would stop and nothing to protect Sam always.

Exactly. I think for Dean to ever start to fix those issues, Sam is going to have to step up big time.

I would love to see have an episode written by Jensen and Jared, it doesn't even have to move the storyline forward, even if it's a day in the life of Dean/Sam type thing. I'd love their perspective on it.

It would be the best episode of the whole series. Because they know Dean/Sam better then even the writers because there have been so many changes in over the years, Jared and Jensen are the only ones that have been with Dean/Sam since day one so to speak.
