Firstly, I love the 'Sammy' in the title. Damn straight!

Secondly, eh-hem, I'm sorry for my wacky reaction in the last thread, but you guessed right, I'd just seen the finale. I swear to God, as soon as I watched it, I freaked out, screeching "WHAT THE HELL?!" and went running through to my sisters' room, yelling, rambling and generally flailing. Everyone was like "what's wrong with you?" Suffice to say...it blew my mind. And properly, properly killed me. I thought they killed me beforehand, it was nothing compared to this. I still can't get over it.

I think I'll work my way backwards, and this'll make no sense (like usual), so be warned! Dean talking to Sam about how he'd do anything for him and Papa Winchester, how it scared him how much he was prepared to do and how far he could go, just...KILLED me. IT KILLED ME. Actually all of the stuff in this episode and the previous one, about how literally Sam and John are all Dean has was just so beyond heart-breaking. I wanted to hit Sam over the head with a frying pan for not quite realising how much he means to his brother - seriously, for a law student, he's a real dumbass sometimes!!! I couldn't believe Dean had to shout at him twice about how he'd be the one left behind if Sammy and John got themselves killed going after that damned demon (which, by the way, why is that SPASTARD not dead yet?! ), especially after how in Salvation he'd been like "sometimes it feels like I'm barely holding it together, and without you or Dad..." OPEN YOUR EARS, SAM! GUH. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BREAK MY HEART SO MUCH?!?!?!!?

Dean saving Sam from that brutal face-pounding by using the Colt was famazing. And Sammy taking Dean's side over the whole "Dad's possessed" issue was MADE OF WIN. I was all like "aaargh, he's stuck in the middle!!! Who can he trust?!" but cheered the fruck out when he stood beside his brother. More so when we found out that yeah, Papa Winchester was possessed like hell. And ooh, the thank you!

For once, Dean let the smartass comments go, because seriously, in the gravity of that situation? Not a good plan!

And OMG, I loved the little callback to the pilot, when Dean said neither their mum nor Jess was coming back, and this time Sam shoved him into a wall. It wasn't pleasant, but my god, it was so angsty and perfect and just showed how far they'd come since then, especially when Sam was like "Don't you say that, not you, not after all this, don't you say that!" It broke my heart but I loved it, because it sort of came across to me as meaning that nothing can change what's already happened and who they've lost, but they still have each other, more than ever before, but only if they themselves don't let that something change that, or affect it. If that makes sense, which I doubt it does.

Oh, the "I wanted to be a firefighter when I grew up"/"You never told me that!" exchange was love, and a bittersweet moment. Also loved when Dean told Sammy to shut his mouth with his premature goodbye in Salvation, because no-one was going to die. YOU TELL 'EM!

And I ADORED the stuff with the boys and their dad in Dean Man's Blood, when John was reprimanding them for going after him, and then changed his tune.

OMFG I do really, really, really love their dynamic with their dad, it's AWESOME.

Phew, my mind is still a scramble, I'm sorry! I just...still, what the hell!?!?! And then they were all hurt at the end and barely alive and together and then stupid possessed Bobby run them over, and can't they just get a break?! ARGH!!! *pulls at hair*

But like I said in the Dean thread, I think Sam finally got it in the end, when he told John that killing the demon wasn't worth everything, and he shared that look with Dean in the backseat, pretty much said it all. But , Sam can make me more than a little aggravated sometimes, although I get over it soon enough and resort to wanting to squishy hug them both for forever!

I loved Sam for choosing Dean. And considering the flashback we got in Something Wicked, you can pretty much assume that Dean kind of took on the role of a parent as well as brother, especially when you take into account that John was probably always off hunting, leaving his boys behind in motels. So it makes it that much bittersweet that Sam chose Dean over John.

That makes perfect sense. I your fresh insight into these scenes. Oh and I also loved the callback to the pilot episode. It's the little details . . .

It's actually such a perfect line. It makes sense that what happened to his mum had that sort of an effect. Every child has an idea of what they want to be when they get older, and being a firefighter was maybe a way little!Dean thought he could help other families from having to live through what happened to his mum. The fact that he wanted to save people ever since he was little, just makes me him even more. I use that phrase so often, but it's so true.

Jenn got there before me, but it wasn't Bobby, even if it did look like him! Are you gonna get to watch the start of season 2 before you go?
