Jensen was suppossed to be Sam? I didnt know that. But im so glad they cast him as Dean because he fits Dean so perfectly!
The switch would be so weird for them both! But atleast we'd get to see what the actors are like as the other character. It would be fun for us. |

That is so weird, the dynamic could have changed completely with different actors, but I don't think the roles would be reversed I think someone older or around JA's age would have played Dean.
The casting worked out not only in age but also because Jensen does comedy and drama so amazingly. He's perfect for Dean! I also think if he had to play someone younger we wouldn't get the stubble (because JP always seems clean shaven) and while Jensen looks great with a bald face, the stubble gives Dean that extra gritty, rugged, sexy thing all of us women find so attractive.  |

Hehe jensen def has the right age n look for Dean, they would need an older guy to play Dean if Jensen played Sam, but JP and JA have the right ages for their characters so it doesnt look fake.
