| Yay for this thread! I adored Dean and Mary's interaction in In The Beginning, and I agree Casey, my favourite scene was their "goodbye" scene. That just tore my heart to pieces, but none more so than Dean's, I'm guessing. He looked heartbroken when Mary said she didn't want the hunting life for her children, and the fact that he tried to save her, and warned her about that night? | I absolutely adore Dean and Mary. And not just with this Mary in ITB, but also Mary in WIAWSNB - I will forever love that scene where Dean's eating his sandwich, and Mary reaches over and touches his cheek and he just smiles wide with food still in his mouth.
