Yes it could and I hope that Dean will not have to carry anymore guilt. I know Dean is strong, but I have no idea how much more he can take. He's always trying to take care of Sam well when it is Dean's turn to have Sam truly look out for him. Dean needs his little brother to be there for him and just this once I hope that Sam steps up and tries to help him. Even though Dean will be stubborn about getting his help I know deep down it would mean the world to Dean to have Sam want to protect him.

Couldn't agree more. Dean is going to push Sam away, but Sam needs to dig in his heels and help Dean anyway. He has to put forth the effort in helping Dean the way Dean does for him. Enough is enough already.

All this is getting so unbearable, Dean def do not need more pressure and it would be great if Sam stands by him no matter what, these very difficult times is when they needed each other the most.

Dean is always put in the most unsettling position, Garth is his friends so he goes against his gut and stick it out trying to have a meal with this farce of a werewolf family, you can see he was disgusted, the lengths he go through for friends and family is remarkable. Loved the hug, but Garth being a werewolf is ridiculous tho.

I loved the Dean/Garth hug too. especially since Dean initiated it.

I really hate that once again, Dean is the bad guy. What he did wasn't wrong. Anybody would have done the same thing to save their family. But as usual, Dean's the bad guy, Dean has to apologize, and then Dean gets punched in the gut. Dean may have told Sam at some point that he couldn't be trusted but NEVER has he told Sam they weren't family.

Yeah man, way to twist the knife, poor Dean, it sucks to hear that from Sam since Dean lives through him, letting someone down does not warrant you turning your back on them especially if not malice intent and Sam knows Dean would never intentionally do him harm.

Sam could have taken a knife and stabbed him right through the heart and it wouldn't have hurt Dean as much as what he said.

I've been wondering if Cain can't be killed, unless it's with the blade apparently. Does that mean Dean is now immortal?
