but I don't know. maybe because of Logan? Or maybe because he was too Manticore-ish? Like he seemed to play by their rules, you know?  Or just because they were suppose to be together, she wanted to fight that, it was like fighting mantiocre?__________________

It make sense. Maybe it was like Sam's "normal"? That dating Logan would be her chance to escape the whole thing. __________________

I could totally see that.
Logan was pretty much just your average normal guy. But Alec was an X5, Manticore born/raised/trained...that had to freak her out. If she had hooked up with Alec that would have been one more tie to that life.__________________

Yes that must have played a part as well.
If she didn't loose him by fighting etc, what if Manticore got a whole of him again and reprogramed him.  It would be hard to see him go through that if she couldn't save him.__________________
