FOX is awful for not giving shows a chance. And hey it was because of DA that Jensen was called in to read for Sam...which lead to Dean ...which lead to the Greatest show EVER! So yeah it would have been great to have years of Alec, but I'm to bummed by how everything turned out.

I liked the whole overall story more in S2 then S1 and it just wasn't because of Alec.

Well I really liked Alec and Joshua so that helped Season 2 but it just seemed to have such a different feel to it. less stiff.

Why isn't Alec gushed about more? Some would argue that he's the best character Jensen has ever played (I myself think Dean is ) but Alec is a very close second.
